yep, I'm sure there will be plenty of those as well......but the higher margins are in the tickets with lower face value, and that's were the scalpers will be aiming

 

Question about the upcoming FCFS phase:

If I applied for a match during the recent lottery phase but was UNSUCCESSFUL, will I be allowed to purchase tickets to that same game during the upcoming FCFS?

It seems like that should be ok, but I want to verify that FIFA wouldn't black those games out for me (and all other games held on those days) given that technically, according to FIFA, both the recent lottery and the upcoming FCFS are part of the same "sales phase two."

You sure will be able to apply for a game you were unsuccessful for in a previous phase.

 

It is normal that my charges are still showing as Pending on my credit card after 4 days? I guess it could be as it was only put through Thursday night (in AUS) and they take a few days to clear.

I applied for all three Uruguay group games and based on the figure taken out I've got tickets for two of them. I'm eargerly awaiting the confirmation email/ability to logon to my PMA account to see which ones I got.

I also have venue tickets for Salvador so logistically it will be tight getting to Uruguay games as well but I'll have to make it work.

Does anyone know if you can put individual tickets back into the pool if they were purchased as a venue package? I'd rather make sure someone else gets to go to games they really want if I can't make it.

 

Any other stories like this from fellow Aussies would be much appreciated for keeping the hope alive - there's nothing on my account yet . Anyone seeing charges appear today?

 

I can't answer your other questions but for the Random Draw it took FIFA 4 days to actually bill my CC. I got the "Pending" charge on FRI FEB 14th, and on TUE the 18th it changed to a normal charge on my online statement. The following day on WED the 19th I got the Green "Successful" tag on my FIFA.com Ticketing Account page.

This time around for the PMA Draw (I'm from the US) my credit card showed the Pending PMA charge on FRI the 21st, so I'm figuring sometime early this week that'll go from "Pending" to an actual charge. I hear where tomorrow we'll be able to see our PMA Ticketing Account page, so I'm hoping to see the green "Successful" tag for my two PMA games when I get up tomorrow morning. But maybe that'll still be Pending like the Random Draw page was until I got billed.

I guess I'll find out tomorrow but I'm not worried as I know I got the tickets...at least I hope so!

So by this, I assume,,,,, you simply buy and you have whatever tickets you choose ?!

Sometime in the last few hours (Sunday evening in America), the credit card charge for my USA PMA tickets went from "Pending" to actually billed by FIFA, and just like in the Random Draw, I was also charged a 1% "Foreign Transaction Fee". So the timing is the same as the Random Draw with this happening exactly 4 days after the Pending Charge showed up...so the next step is that [hopefully] tomorrow the PMA Ticketing Account on FIFA.com will be accessible and I will see where I have the "Successful" tags next to the tickets I applied for.

Its also cleared on my credit card so just waiting to be able to log back in in half an hour or so...unless fifa decide to push it back again lol

Just like the Confederations Cup there will be protest almost everyday and a lot of violence all around so everyone just needs to be extra careful however security will be added around the stadiums just for the foreigners safety. By the way because of the protests and the extra security it will 1) make entry into stadiums MUCH slower than usual and we will need to get to the stadium plenty ahead of time and 2) Scalpers will be scarce, which means if you plan on buying tickets outside the stadium is going to be difficult compare to other tournaments. Get your tickets ahead of time !

 

How do you access the PMA Section. When I log into the ticketing account, it will only let me view the "Tickets for the General Public" Section. There is no link to the PMA anymore. I applied with the Australian PMA by the way.

 

hell yeah! i already have CAT 1 to the Chile vs Aus game as well, so nothing lower than Cat 2 for me!

 

I applied for all 3 USA group games. For the Portugal game I have "lower category accepted" and charge for $360 (which I see on my cc). For the other 2 games it shows me the thumb up and "same as reqeusted" but I was not charged for those. I don't understand, did I get all 3??

 

Maybe someone can help me out here because I'm a little confused. I was charged $362 for 4 tickets.

It seems as though FIFA hasn't charged me for my cat1 ticket???

 

Kinda the same with me, I was just charged for the cat3 but the 2 games in cat1 are showing as successful but I have not been charged for those.
