Bradley's shot from an impossible angle cleared right off the line.

It would have been desirable for Bradley to of gotten more power on the shot (because it was on target) but he had to open his hips and to get more power on it he would have had to take more time on his kick...with two guys behind him he would have never of gotten it off. Especially from that angle, he did pretty damn well.

Yeah I'm 50-50 on the "should have scored" bit. Was a very hard angle to make a goal from, though I still do think he could have done a bit better on it.

So how did he get in the position, I just saw the end of the closeup at the goal line.

it frustrating how little bradley's teammates use him. he got passed up for a turn at the wheel about 10 times in a row on a sequence just earlier. zapata is playing phenomenally.

I actually think he's being played in quite a bit more than I've seen in previous games. Zapata is beasting this match though.

The announcers were saying that he was unlucky not to have scored, but guys that was an incredibly difficult angle and one of the announcers mentioned that the way he had to strike the ball to even get it on target produced the back spin that kept the ball from going in.

    HT 1-1

IMO Bradley has been quite good past that one very difficult shot. I think Strootman might have said slightly otherwise after he got hit from that ball though. :p

Anyone have a full replay of how he got the chance? I still haven't seen it except for the close angle.

Taking the Pjanic role suits Bradley well: you see more of him when he has to go forward. Usually, he takes a more conservative role, replacing Strootman or DDR. Ljalic is given a run perhaps as a chance to prove his worth, otherwise I can see Florenzi coming in in the second half, though. So far it's good, although by the second part of the first half, Milan had covered the middle better and both teams bogged the midfield, and fewer chances were created for either, making for a less exciting match.

The second half, we'll see who wins that battle in the middle.

I expect Totti for Ljajic before the 60th minute

Did anyone else notice that on the Zapata goal he headed the straight down into the ground and it bounced up, hit his knee, and went into the goal? That was a comically lucky way to score.

Someone for Ljalic. Personally, I can see Florenzi x Ljalic and Totti x Bradley. Although the other way around also works.

the russians guys i'm listening to both emphatically said 'niet!' when they saw it.

roma are playing pretty well, zapata has saved milan's bacon 3 or 4 times. he goal was ridiculous. he stooped to head it right into the ground, it popped up and hit him in the head again and bundled off the ground, off his head. you could say the keeper should have gotten a touch, but it was a weird action for sure. i don't think i've ever seen a goal like it.

maicon is really prowling his flank. milan are attacking him with two, but he's held them mostly in check and gotten forward to good effect. the guy has it all, tho. size, strength, speed, and not to mention some of the best footwork and ball skills on the field. he's thriving in rome.

as for bb, i'd like a few more touches on the ball with him and for him to stay in his advanced role. de rossi has pushed bradley back a few times and milan looked better. when mike was pushing forward roma looked better.

should be a great second half and i'm sure totti will get a good 20 minutes or so...
