I might be forgiven for forgetting which team got the bus. After all, there were a few stoppage time collapses last weekend.
Come on, as a Houston fan are you really surprised a friendly vs. a Mexican team gets a little out of control? We've only seen it happen here 5-6 times. I liked that criminal Villar running 80 yards to confront the ref
I know I harp on it all the time, but this comes down to poor coaching and tactics. Instead of constantly keeping up the pressure, they take their foot off the gas. The goal of Hackworth is to come out with a point on the road. We did that. This will look like a success in his eyes. In my eyes we blew a clear victory, and in this case it was the fault of the player who made the error, but it starts with the idea that when you go up a man you can take your foot off the gas. It's not acceptable, but Hackworth will say it's OK because we got the point we, allegedly, came for.
That's a fair point. I didn't mean to imply that Palmer intended to hurt Farfan. But now that I've reviewed the video, I think that's a straight red in all of the major soccer nations except Britain. You can't leap in the way Palmer did, the risk of injury is too great.
Lots of kiddos out there for the Timbers tonight. They said at least one U-16 player out there? Wow. Anyway, FT: 1-0 to Portland
Haha some playful sh** talking on the NT Nick Rimando @NickRimando16m Weird... Walked by @JackMcInerney9 room and I heard whimpering.
Morelia's coach on the radio blaming the ref for his team's poor performance against the Timbers reserve and academy players.
I just laugh at the results any more. We are SOL with Ellinger, I mean Hackworth, at the helm. Can't control a game even when up a man, can't defend a set piece to save their life, and has absolutely no concentration to close out a game. Funny, cause I have been thinking for the last few weeks we may be able to out TFC, TFC.
"Wahhhhhhh we got a point at the RioT and are in third place in the east wahhhhhhhhh." Is all I hear.

Do you know the origin of that meme? One of my kids asked me once and I'm embarrassed to say that not knowing has been bothering me ever since.
