I wasn't sure where your U/20's team thread is so i am here instead.

Well done on grabbing a draw against England in the current WYC. Keep it up.

We saw two games in wich the players showed a great fighting spirit. Well done.

As usual, the players are doing their job by representing us in a good manner while the IFA is embarassing us by struggling to provide the necessary gear. The player numbers are manually attached to the kits and constantly fall off. It seems like the players didn't even exchange t-shirts at the end of both games due to the shortage of kits. These issues are occurring because Peak doesn't want to continue sponsoring our teams.

Mabrook. A lot of errors to be fixed though.

Mohannad should become the number one striker in our NT. I don't think he is completely ready but we simply don't have any options. It's better to invest in the future than use useless players like Alaa and Amjad.

The point with this U20 team:

We are still making mistakes, but we can afford it because of our goalscoring. The lack of goalscoring in the senior NT costed us a lot of games.

This team played a lot with each other, the team chemistry is very high. Also a very important point.
    ;)

I think a lot of the players will move to Europe. The scouts are impressed, the commentators are impressed. Iraqi football will reach the next level!

congrats iraq!.. korea is such a tough team to beat. the best team will win.
iraq u-20 is the youngest average squad in this WC U-20 edition i believe. but asian already has one spot for the semi. hoping that uzbek can win against france

I am proud of these guys. We haven't seen a smile on the face of Iraqis for a long time.

It will be an extremely though game against Korea especially because of the absence of Mohannad. I am not really charmed by the other strikers..

We must not underestimate Korea, but to be honest: I'd rather face them than Colombia or any other European / SA team so I'm glad that we face them again.

They were not really impressive throughout this WC, we know them very well, and we really have to avenge our loss of last year :)

This can't be healthy. I lost a minimum of 10 years of potential life.

Alf mabrook fagr Asia. I take my words back; we have in Farhan Shakor a player who has got an extreme eye for the goal, even more than Mohannad. The eurosport commentator just killed me (dutch guy). Very negative towards our team and after the 3-2 he just completely shut down. Even he couldn't ignore Ali Adnan and said that clubs could get him because he got something special.

One thing; our players are burnt out and who can blame them. Such young fellows who played with their clubs, the NT team and this team. I have said this before, we have to protect the players. Remember how Humam played against Arbil in arbil with Jawiya? And the next day he was on the ptich in Baghdad playing the friendly against Syria. That is just sickening. And we are seeing the form in wich Humam is now; completely invisible. And they have to return and finish the games in the joke called the Iraqi league..
