  5. Brett's team is turning into an "Eredivisie team", as he is joined by Feyenoord player El Ahmadi and probably Ron Vlaar too.

Yeah, I think he probably prefer's the Netherlands. But he needs to cut it in the EPL, otherwise he's no use to us.

I think if he performs well in a comp of the standard of the Eredivisie he'd be going well. Do you think he is doomed to lose his position to Rogic by the time the WC rolls around? He seem to use him as a workhorse and then unleash some fresher more dangerous talent when players are tiring.

He's not even been a good workhorse of late. The SPL may not be the greatest league in the world but I'd argue that playing for Celtic at least the equal of Villa and far, far above the UAE.

Do you know he has not started a game at Villa since early January and been used as a Sub only a handful of times since then?

It was painfully obvious in the recent WCQ that he was not match fit. He had to move to (anywhere), as long as he was starting games if he wanted to go the the 2014 WC.

It would have been nice for him to come back home though.

Why so argumentative? I was only saying I think he could have done better than UAE. It wasn't a comment on the merits or otherwise of leaving Villa. That I believe is the right move for the reasons you have stated.

Sorry, i couldn't find anywhere in your post between: the link you provided and calling him an idiot (which was your entire post), where you said he he could have done better than going to UAE.
Neither could i find any argument i have supposedly created by asking a question and stating what i thought was an answer.

Playing in the Middle East has helped Breciano to hold good enough form to win matches for Aust.

But maybe someone has deleted a post somewhere??? That could be the confusion :)

All good loyalty. I was alluding in my posts above the one you quoted I felt he should go back to the Eredivisie (or similar). I just think he still has more to offer than just the UAE. But maybe I am being harsh on the league.
