    Just came back from Saida. We beat Iraq 1-0 a friendly today.

    Abbas Hassan (Norrköping/Sweden) and Nader Matar (Cansillas/Spain) played their first match for the Lebanese NT.

    Good win. Lebanon seem to be gaining more and more self-confidence and momentum!
    Gonna be a dark horse for the final qualifying round.

    So we just lost our last round 3 match 4-2 to team Africa (UAE)...

    But I believe we still qualify to round 4 due to Korea beating Kuwait..

    The goal keeping for Lebanon was just horrible on those free kicks...

    Yeah, we're through, for the first time in our history.

    I agree the first goal for the UAE was a huge blunder, but it was the guy's second international match. It's allright.

    i still cant believe we lost from you one hit wonder miss Lebanon
    1st we lost from Vietnam in Asian cup for the 1st time in r history
    a year later we lose from Saudia Arabia and North Korea 4 the 1st time in the WCQ & now u (now thats what I call making history we bought a 1 way ticket to the bottom ******** this squad and goodluck 4 the Olympians)

    & 4 your info we dont have Africans on our squad simply cuz we r not Qatar, there are many black arabs ever heard of Antar bin Shadad if you really an Arab u will know him & u can easily tell the difference between black arabs and africans by their face features

    u got France 98 that's team Africa for u :) or am I wrong f it I dont want to be right
