Hi, I'm an international student who's recently moved to the USA for university/college. One of the main problems this has presented, is it's limited my time playing/watching football. I can't seem to find enough people to regularly have non-competitive games at a semi decent standard. But that's beside the point, the bigger worry, is that I can't seem to find a place to regularly watch arsenal games. I feel disconnected enough from the football world by not having SSN everywhere and screaming headlines and people asking me about the game but it's becoming a struggle to actually watch the games. I only found out our next game was against Stoke now. I was able to catch the last half hour of the sunderland game on a small tv in the corner of the student union. Whilst I'm willing to wake up early on a sunday to watch us play stoke, it seems the union is not so accomodating and I can't seem to set up an online ESPN account. So I was wondering if there was any legal way to be able to stream the arsenal games at a good quality.
for espn3 you need a special account these days? I thought from a college campus you could click and play pretty much anything espn could get their initials on
I watched Barcelona - Madrid today on there no account required. I second firstrow not the best quality but reliable.
Yeah, I regularly watch ESPN3. The only problem would be if the computers don't have flash installed, since you can't install software on school computers. Also, as far as playing, intramurals should be popular. You can just hop on a team for indoor or outdoor.
sportlemon.tv will get you all the Arsenal games in Arabic! Also try Fox Soccer Channel, BeIN Sports (ONLY FOR LEAGUE CUP) and ESPN 2.
Here is the arsenal.com fixtures list with American TV listings.... http://www.arsenal.com/usa/schedule/schedule-and-reports Keep track of that schedule and you should be okay.
You can come over to my house and watch. I'll have the coffee on if you promise to be quiet for the early morning kickoffs.
If you aren't too hung up on watching matches live, just about every Arsenal game will be here: http://wigan88.blogspot.com/ The quality is pretty good for watching on a computer screen and they are generally available within a few hours of the game. Good luck.
Look on Arsenal America for a branch near you. If you're in one of the cities listed, visit their given pub/bar location on a matchday and make some friends.
Hrm? If that is a reference to my geographical location and the predominant (but not majority) religion of my city, I can assure you that you're barking up the wrong Utahn. I actually last used the pub thread when on a trip to Washington, as I needed to watch the final match of the season.
