galliani tried that already. liverpool said no.

i read something a few days ago that said, galliani will sign aquilani on loan again, but the buyout price would be lower then 6m.[IMG] maybe as low as 3m.:

Epic! They must regret even seeing him

He should insert that 25 game purchase clause too

a quick search says 153,000 pounds a week... which is just under 8M pounds/year... which is just under 10M euro per year. i don't know what that makes his total salary cost to RM is for the year, but that would cost milan 20M/yr if i'm not mistaken. we need a frowning galliani emoticon.

Milan have dismissed fresh links with Kaka and Mario Balotelli by declaring that they need a new defensive midfielder.

“I have many dreams, but seeing Balotelli at Milan will most likely remain just that,” Vice-President Adriano Galliani stated to Sky Sport Italia.

“As for Kaka, I see his return to San Siro as impossible. They have different tax laws in Spain and we can’t compete with their salaries.”

While ruling out bids for the Manchester City and Real Madrid players, Galliani also insisted that striker Robinho will stay.

“In order to complete our squad, we are missing a midfielder who can play in front of the defence,” Galliani added. “Kevin Constant was signed yesterday from Genoa to replace the injured Sulley Muntari.”

The Diavolo are thus looking for a direct Mark Van Bommel replacement after he opted to return to PSV Eindhoven.

“Our objective for the season ahead is to win the Italian championship and go as far as possible in the Champions League,” the official added.

Guys over on the Redbulls section are thinking Kaka is coming to the Redbulls. I find it hard to believe due to the fact Madrid won't let him just go, his salary, and that he could go to other teams in bigger leagues.

I know your all gonna hate me and maybe crucify me, but if we need a defensive center mid. How about Michael Bradley from Cheivo and USA. The guy has really turned out to be quite the defensive mid and is quickly becoming better and better for US nat team. Cheivo and us have had good ties, perhaps a loan deal.

And the thoughts of us signing big names is pretty much out the window this year. Im not keeping my hopes up. Id love to keep everyone we have and sign a few more. I heard Didac Vila might be coming back or if we signBalzaretti,Strootman, or another DM, Id be happy...

i've been thinking this for a while. he's the type of player max loves: box to box, tough tackling, seems to be maturing also. i wouldn't be upset with him coming to milan, but he's not the type of impact player who helps you win the champion's league, not that i think that is this club's goal at this point.

Shame if he has gone, but I doubt we'd start him if he had come back so probably best to let him go

I used to hate Bradley after watching him on US team, but he's really grown on me. He's a great defensive mid, but also adds good passing and somewhat of an offensive game. I'd put him as a DDR 2.0. Same characteristics, same style. I don't think he would cost much, but if we need DM for cheap, I like Bradley. Also, I agree he's not the impact guy that will win us the CL. Tho, without spending money to get better, I don't see us winning student to either...
