Saw a boy in a Sounders t-shirt at the Birmingham Zoo a few weeks ago. Today while I was visiting my sister in Nashville, saw a girl in a Sounders jersey at the Opry Mills Mall.

Took a vacation last week. First leg was to LA and Disneyland. I wore my Sounders gear and was on the lookout for any MLS gear. Didn't see any at LAX (besides my own), in Disneyland first I saw a man wearing a Sounders t-shirt who was pulled onstage during some skit in frontierland. Shortly thereafter a family coming from behind us commented on our sounders gear, thier family was wearing various gear from shirts to a backpack. Finally a random worker sweeping up gave me a thumbs up and a "Go Sounders!" later in the day. Second leg was a cruise to Mexico. On the cruise ship one of the days I was wearing my Sounders hat and a Galaxy fan struck up a conversation with me. I mentioned we were STHs and he asked my wife if I made her go, when she responded that she was a big fan in her own right he said "See!" quite pointedly to his wife. Lastly we got another "Go Sounders!" from a different family walking out of the theater after a show one night. Overall it was pretty cool to run into the random Sounders supporters on our vacation.

Saw a girl at the finish line of the Country Music Half Marathon in a Fire t-shirt. I tried to strike up a conversation about MLS but was too exhausted, and ended up wishing her luck on the race she had just ran. Facepalm.

The wife and I spent some time at the new SLC downtown mall on Saturday (the shiny new toy here where everyone is going to visit) . While we were there we saw at least 20 people wearing RSL gear. Not too surprising because it was a game day. What was unusual about it was that Saturday night the Jazz were playing their first home playoff game, and we saw only 1 person wearing anything Jazz related.
