last weekend Amkar youth played against Spartak Nalchik (2-0 Nalchik won). Tziskaridze played till 68 minute.
Zourab now even not in youth team now. Match against Volga Nizhny Novgorod (4-1 Amkar youth won) he spent on the bench.
Zourab Tsiskaridze on transfer now with other five Amkar players. Seems Miodrag Bozhovich that cultivate attacking "sexual" football have another view on the players + limits on the foreign players.
Zourab Tsiskaridze played full time in 2 last full matches for Amkar Perm' youth. [Personal attacks/profanity removed] He's a very strong player, Russian Premier League is a fd up system and politics cause for not just Tsiskaridze but other players too to not be allowed to play. Coach is discriminatory and it's not because the player is good or not. Plus players pay off to stay on the pitch....so get your facts straight before you start zoning in on one player to whom happens to be one if not the best on the team....
Nobody criticized Zourab in this thread. We have good rotation of players between youth and main team. What do you know about atmosphere in Amkar and Bozhovich work for team? As i wrote allready here, Amkar have strong youth team, so Tsiskaridze have a dozen of competitors. No doubt that he have no problems with youth team coach Rustem Huzin

Tsiskaridze is in Sweden this week trialing with Superettan (second tier) team Jönköpings Södra. He will train with them until friday when a decision will be made if they want to proceed. The director of sports describe him as a tough and powerful defender with a good left foot. He also reveal that the club found out about Tsiskaridze through the Jönköping managers contacts in the US.
Things move quickly in Jönköping. Today they write on their official website that they have signed Tsiskaridze for the remainder of the season.
Tsiskaridze seems to have made a big impression in his starting debut, unfortunaly not a good one though as he was sent off in the second half for cursing at the referee. The story doesn't reveal the exact words spoken but the Jönköping keeper who heard it commented afterwards: "He said something in english to the referee, but it shouldn't have been a red card. Barely even a yellow.".
From the Russian Premier League to the Swedish second division. Odd move, that. Incidentally, he joins with Dustin Corea there.
He didn't play much in the Russian Prem seeing the field in only a couple matches and spending the rest of his time with the 2nd team/youth squad. He's probably in search of first team starts and had to drop down some levels to find those.
Bad news for Tsiskaridze, it seems like whatever it was that he said was more serious then first reported and he ended up being suspended for an additional three games!
Tsiskaridze is back in action för J-Södra and he seems to be performing well in the two games that he has played after his suspension. In the first game he was ranked by fansite Södrasajten as the teams third best player with the comment: "Fought for the good of the team. Not the best with the ball at his feet but tough to go up against and useful in the back." Then in todays game the same site ranked him as the second best player on the team with the comment: "Brilliant performance! With great timing and determination he wins most challanges. Has good passing and with his good football intelligence he evaluated most situations very well. Had a free kick hit the crossbar.". Another user on the site also writes: "The Hulk, Terminator, you name it. Zourab is da man." The local newssite Jnytt also ranks him as the second best player in the latest game, but is a bit more toned down in their comment: "Mixes his actions but shows authority and willpower in central defence. Had a dangerous freekick hit the bar."
It was unfortunate that yesterdays Jönköpings Södra game was not televised so there is no video, but it appears that Tsiskaridze scored one of the most spectacular goals of the league this season. The team apparantly got a freekick in their own half and Tsiskaridze saw that the keeper was way out of position and scored from 70 meters! In general everyone around the club really seems to quickly have taken a liking to this guy, he was named second best player in the game by the local newssite and best player by fansite Södrasajten. Since there unfortunaly was no video available I will leave you with the second best thing: locker room pictures that the fansite took from after the game!
Tsiskaridze sees red for the 2nd time this season. Fortunately the team seemed to get better after the ejection and have come back from 0-1 down at the 76th minute when he left the field to win the match 2-1.
Zourab extends his contract with a year. He comments that he has had interest from other clubs in Sweden and in other countries also, but while a player wants to play at the highest level possible he feels that he is very needed at Jönköping. The article also notes that Tsiskaridze knows six different languages which he has learned through playing football in different countries and he now hopes to add swedish to that list!
The two biggest swedish newspapers released their traditional season preview magazines this weekend. And like recent years I thought I would again provide some scans of the player ratings which are the most talked about parts of these magazines. The Superettan sections of these magazines are much smaller and only have the ratings without comments. 4/5 and 3/5 for Zourab. This makes him the highest rated Yank Abroad in Superettan according to these two magazines.
