Vitesse has added the Mexican talent Ulises Davila to its squad. So is Jozy going to muscle him around?
On the Mexican abroad thread they really want Uli to outshine and outrun Jozy. Vitesse is in the situation AZ had for years, a sugar daddy hoarding talents by the busload. Last year they had a shitty coach from FC Barcelona, but he's replaced by a proper Dutch coach that made his team ADO beat the top teams of the Eredivisie on their own turf last season and resurrected a Russian targetman from his scoring coma.
Ruud Boyman has recuperated from his injury against PSV. As Jozy got knocked in the Belgian friendly and wasnot 100% fit at that time already, the question is how he is doing right now. Some sites with Jozy the last 24 hours http://voetbal.blog.nl/algemeen/2011/09/07/jozy-altidore-over-zijn-situatie-bij-az http://www.facebook.com/JozyAltidore17
Did some research, that Mexican kid is on loan from Chelsea?? When did Chelsea buy a Mexican player? Any seen him play before?
Chelsea bought him this summer after the WC from Chivas. But he's out on loan for a season until his work permit goes through. And yes we hope he outshines Jozy Realistically though, he's never played in Europe so he'll need to adapt. Though I hear Josey's been on fire for the club.
If you cannot find a stream, you can listen in Dutch to the Langs de Lijn show, which bounces from game to game with updates. They were just talking about Jozy, actually. http://nos.nl/radio/player/
