yeah the actual jersey could have had a more creative design. it's a really nice design for the jackets, they look sick. it amazes me, Since when does a jacket look better than a jersey?!

it's been confirmed this afternoon that Jaime Ayovi is not gonna be able to recuperate from his injury and won't make it to the Copa America.

Felix Borja or Juan Anangono will be called up if he's being replaced - i'm calling that one.

Jairo Montano is replacing him now. Does that mean he is not eligible to play with the U-20 team? I'm not sure how this works.

you mean Edson Montano? yeah, I'm not sure. Isn't Neymar playing the Copa America and the U-20 World Cup or am i wrong? I'd assume Edson would play both but he'd have no time to practice with the U-20 squad so it's up in the air. I think it's stupid for him to play this Copa America instead of the U-20 World Cup b/c he's a key player for that squad. He'll get his chance for sure in this Qualifier and it will come sooner than expected but RUEDA YOU DAMN MORON let the kid play the U-20 world cup. Call up Guerron, Montero, Rojas, or even Borja if you have to. GOD this guy MESSES UP EVERYTHING.

You know what? the U-20 without Edson Montano means our chances to go far in that World Cup are slim. he's the goal scorer. And the U-20 world cup is what im anticipating to see more than anything. The hell with the older squad. Rueda right now is messing up not only one NT but TWO.

I think i'm hating him even more now. RETARD

Montano is young and should concentrate on the U20 World Cup not Copa America. He doesn't even play a lot on his own club so I'm no sure why he is been called up. Not saying he is good or bad cause he is so young but coach needs to call up someone with more experience right now. I'm not even sure how much time Montano is going to get to play at all in the Copa America anyways, might as well let him go to the U20 World Cup.

José Luis Chiriboga, hijo del presidente de la FEF, es el representante deportivo de los seleccionados ecuatorianos Narciso Mina, Geovanni Nazareno y Edson Montaño.

Can anyone confirm or deny this? Suspicious if true!

i guess if you don't play and you are young, you get called up.

by that reasoning Montero should be in and not this kid.

Seriously this man is an idiot and it's going to be ugly.

I can see Neymar ripping Caicedo to shreds already.

PS: I really like the gk jerseys. that's the one im getting.

    Great kits.

I agree the home looks a little off balance because of the way the flag colored bar has the yellow blending in with the yellow of the rest of the kit but I like it. I really dig the away and the keepers.

    Class!

I also want that jacket, a home jersey, and away jersey (looks better than the home one). Just wonder where I can buy them in the USA though, if anyone know please tell me. Thanks.

If Ecuador could not beat the U-23 National Team of Mexico in Quito with the so called "Stars", what do you expect that Ecuador will do in Copa America 2011 in Argentina with the National Teams of the group that they have to play in? I believe that they will get eliminated in the first round. They will not make a point. Rueda will remain as a coach. Everything will remain the same. A lot of talk and no solutions. So, why go on with this topic. Chiriboga made a choice, and he will defend Rueda until whenever the end is.

What's interesting is that we've played Mexico 3 times under Rueda. We beat them 2-1 in Mexico last year with our A/B team, then a month ago we tied them 1-1 in Seattle with our A/B team, and now we lost 0-1 to their U-23 team in Quito with our full A team.

The only conclusion you can draw is that the team is gradually falling apart under Rueda.

It is falling apart. Rueda seems that he does not know what is he doing.

This F-ing Rueda is a F-ing fool! Montero and Guerron are 2 players that come to mind that could help with the offense. When he starts making excuses before a big tournament, like the Copa America about no offense, its not a very good sign.

In 13 games he only has 2 wins 7 draws 4 wins.
