Montero injured along with Caicedo. He looked like he injured his leg pretty bad. Had to be carried out. Musle pull or tear. Not a good day for Ecuadorians.
Montero came back today and I think he played well. He still not passing the ball like a normal left wing. He kind of reminds me of a poor mans Nani. He need to be a bit more like Valencia and put in passes so that his forwards have a chance to score. He takes it by himself way too much.

Off topic, but i hate Jeff Montero, Luis bolanos, JC Paredes, and Cristian Benitez's hair cuts. These fools need Cristian Suarez stylist minus his facial hair. And if Michael Arroyo is gonna rock the mohawk, get the stylist that Miller Bolanos has cuz Arroyo looks like a bird with his.
Why? Are all black people supposed to have the same hairstyle? I feel bad for black people, over the years, society has basically told them that their natural hair is shit and they should always hide it. I agree some of those haircuts are weird but who cares? They are the ones making money, right? lol
latest news says that Udinese wants Jeff now that Alexis Sanchez is about to make his move to Barcelona. And besides them Real Betis and of course Levante wants him too. Where should he go?
The italian league is better than the spanish league. Udinese by Far. he'll be playing against Acmilan, Inter, Juventus, Roma, Lazio plus Udinese have Champions League.. he'll be a moron to go anywhere else if given the chance. Real betis or staying at levante is a waste of his damn time.
Has anyone seen how many players Udinese has on loan? a shitload.....who knows if he will get first team games at all. Might as well stay in Spain.
udinese: esta negociando la salida de alexis sanchez, chileno, al manchester city o un grande de espana y a cristian zapata, colombia, al liverpool. tendran un monton de billete para invertir en joven talento.....y espacio en la planilla.
He probably wont get regular futbol with all the players ahead of him and end up on loan? A team with 30 forwards and 20 midfielders seems suspicious.
the only reason players don't get regular futbol is because THEY FAIL. In other words, you don't think he's good enough to win the spot at udinese. Or are we going to write little fVVcking girlie statements like "the coach doesn't like him?" It was hilarious how everyone was talking shit about the Coach at Villareal and than Montero went to Levante and everyone STFU about the coach there eventhough he saw the samething, BENCH. Or better yet, If you want him to start every game with no challenges, ship him to Mexico. With his resume, he'll start every game for sure.
I have to side with AF on this one....if the kid is standing out in training, there's no reason for the coach to bench him. Now, there are occasions where players feud with coaches, but I hardly think that Montero is benched because of that. The kid has talent, and he needs to step his game up. If he can go to Udinese, he must seize the chance and not waste it.
he's on loan. It's not simple playing in Villarreal in Montero's position. Antonio Valencia didn't make it there either. What Villarreal is trying to do is give him playing time in a team where he'll most likely get a starting spot and hope his price tag elevates a year from now. Then there will be teams interested and it will end up being money in their pocket. I highly doubt he'll ever go back there again. They invest in our players. They tried doing the same with one of our players that plays in U-20, Renato Ibarra but El Nacional declined their offer.
Yeah exactly, just like the colombian national team that was hyped since the early 2000's and hasn't been able to qualify for even one World Cup since then
