Si.

Re: James Rodriguez - news & comments 7.350 euros

Last time I read Envigado sold their 1/2 of his rights to Banfield before he was sold to Europe. They got 1.5 million for a 16/17 year that Banfield then molded into what he is now. Not a bad deal at all. Sucks they didn't keep the rest of his transfer and get more money but for Envigado thats more than they will probably ever get for a player unless Nacional gets stupid again and pays $3 million for another Colombian leaguer.

I for one am a huge fan of Envigado and what they do with young players just wish they had nicer uniforms/colors/sponsors etc. They also developed Guarin right before he went to Boca. Hope that Porto invest in Envigado like Udinese invest in Dept Cali's youth systems.

Yea i noticed it too. He had his hands on his waste staring at the opposite end of the pitch while the rest of the team was celebrating. I also noticed when everyone was shaking hands with teamates and some of the team staff he was again by himself until Falcao came over to him. I think its his age and how he is new to the club. But that one play he had reminded me of Gio Moreno. He had two players open either way and just held the ball to long, fell down, and gave it away.

Yeps. Bought 70%, sold 35%, bought 30% - as of now they own 65% but those investors have a selling option on those 35%. It's a financial tool, cheaper than borrowing money from banks these days.

She won a portuguese championship of her own as well. Volleyball. Apparently she's a really good player. We'll have a fluff piece on them this Summer, at least she's not the typical WAG.

I give up!! Sub-20 or not Sub-20, Bolillo, MUST invite the kid. He won't I'm almost positive of that, but James proved that he needs not only to be in the senior squad, but to start, no doubt of that. His crosses were absolutly brilliant today. I'm so happy for him and for POrto, and finally we see a good European team when all the Colombians were a major factor of the success.
