Nunez y Mirabaje were a disgrace last night. My respects to Wason and Dayro, a los que mataron a balonazos. Santos played a good game but caldas coulve played better, they allowed the Brazilian to play with the ball too much. They needed to put more pressure. oh well, like you guys said, hopefully with Carbonero things will change in the next leg

I prefer Caldas to lose if they don't win it all. How lame would it be to knock out 2 brazilian powerhouses and not win it all. Next game Santos will have Ganso and be at home looks like Caldas are done. I am really upset Tolima didn't make it as I said before they are the best team in Colombia. There is hope Dayro-Renteria makes tons of goals and anything is possible

Well tonight Caldas' backs are against the proverbial wall again. Let's see if they can pull off another big upset.

Ganso is injured yet again. If they can contain Neymar it's just a matter of staying calm in front of the net.

Every time that little $#)! gets the ball I almost have a hard attack.

I think Caldas has to mount their attacks quicker if they want to win this. They're giving Santos the extra second to reorganize and cover up Wason.

    I still have faith

Well the better team found a way to advance but Caldas did make it kind of exciting.

Osorio and Caldas did a decent job.

The one thing I have to say about Osorio though is that he took out Mirabaje too early. There were a couple of freekick situations that he could have taken and been dangerous.

Oh well, I want to see Wason, Dayro and Carbonero play in the next couple of friendlies so there is some solace.

There won't be couple of friendlies, Colombia gives the players to rest before the Copa America. In general, I'm disappointed from Once. Not because of this loss but this whole tournament. In the history of the Libertadores not club ever reached the quarter final without winning one single home game. And Caldas, who cold easily qualify for the semi final, lost their chances at home. On paper Caldas had one of the best squads in the tournament but something didn't connected so good. Both Caldas and Junior had potential for semi finla at least, in my opinion.

    1. From what I read in the news, Colombia is not playing on June's FIFA dates but they left open the door for two games, Mexico and S.Africa at later dates, just before Copa America...

    2. While I am a little disapointed (especially with Junior who had a great chance to be in the semifinals) I feel that Once performed better than expected. In my book the best Colombian team was Tolima but they got a tough group and was eliminated too soon. Once had too many internal problems and even with the turmoil they pulled a couple of miracles; a third one was unlikely but they were very close.

    3. Overall I have to revaluate my perception of FPC for better; I think that Colombian teams were a little better than average and in most games very competitive; If something was missing was luck (Tolima), armony (Once) and mental toughness (Yunio) but our teams looked fine. Lets see how Millos does next year..;)

:) Millos has a great coach are becoming a seriously run company now and are allowing the coach to work on a project. If he does half of what he did for Millos that he did for Venezulea they won't be such a joke team. Millos did pretty good in the Sudamericana and hey I want their to actually be big teams in Colombia again and not O man Millos and America are huge teams because we won 13 titles before my grandkids were born.

America, Millos and Junior need to step their shit up. Nacional looks good and Once Caldas with Osorio can hopefully become a big team too as well as maybe Tolima who has been the most consistent team in Colombia in the last 5 years.

I would LOVE to see Millos up top again.... nothing like a good old fashioned big team rivalry reborn!!

We are kind of tired of pumping our expectations with equidad.

Believe me, it is in the works.. Maybe right now we will just make the playoffs, but I have great hopes for the next tournament and I seriously expect Millos to be back in Libertadores next year. And then I'll change my signature :)
