He's in shape, he's just slow. The Revs can't afford to be choosy about goal scorers, and McCarthy still has his touch. Might not be a terrible pickup, but it depends on the money.
Just saw on Soccernet that McCarthy was let out of his contract with WestHam there might be a chance of him going to Revs. Low and behold there was already a thread! For what it's worth I can't say he's a world beater, but beggars can't be choosers.
i think you are going to be surprised by this Danish guy you signed. his record at various stops at Silkeborg seems to be pretty good. could be wrong but i'd be on him being far better than would McCarthy.
