Most Tatars are also similar to Russian, but most importantly, the Tatars did not oppose themselves to the Russian culture, as do Caucasian ethnic groups.
That seems a bit of a simplification. Tatarstan declared independence just like Chechnya, the difference was that they used it as leverage to gain political powers.
It is government policy, not people. Ask any Tartar, Chuvash, Mordvin as they relate to the Chechens and other Caucasians.
So what are you saying? They have no concept of their ethnic identity, or that they simply don't want to murder people?
Second. They want to live peacefully in a united Russia, but did not want his own expense to feed ex-terrorists, who annually receive tens of billions of euros of subsidies from the federal budget.
Not rebelling against the central government doesn't necessarily mean they are similar to Russians, which is where the confusion came from.
where do Terek get their money from ? do Chechens see them as part of the Kadyrov regime ? do most Chechens care about Terek / support them ?
I've always wondered where they got the money to stay afloat. I'm thinking the same place Chechens, Afganis, and any other terrorist hiding behind the Koran gets the cash to buy weapons: Saudi Arabia.
The annual budget of FC Terek last 3-4 years is 25-35 million euros. The new stadium, which they now are building will cost 200-250 million euros. http://www.sports.ru/football/69439266.html Kadyrov's сars http://avtotochki.ru/talks/post/303142529543/ Where does the former terrorist Kadyrov's so much money? That's right, from Moscow, from the Federal budget. The Chechen Republic on 90% subsidized. The rest of the North Caucasus (Dagestan, North Ossetiya, Kabardino-Balkaria, and others) are subsidized by 60-80%. This is nonsense, when the very poor and subsidized region of the country represented in the Premier League four clubs. For comparison: FC Rotor Volgograd - in 1990 years yielded only Spartak in Russia in 1995, even knocked out Manchester United from the UEFA Cup. The city's population more than 1 million people, the region ranks among the top 20 on economic development, richer than all of the Caucasian republics together. Here's their stadium .... http://alex-rosh.livejournal.com/191790.html Of course, the Chechens are all sick of the Terek and they like Kadyrov's regime. Indeed, for every ruble earned, Chechnya receive an additional 9 rubles. Mortgage in Russia for about 30%, while in the North Caucasus 5%.
I think what he's trying to say is that Tatars see their future within the Russian Federation, not without.
The events of the last week in Dagestan. By-items: Wednesday In Makhachkala and Kaspiysk killed 15 terrorists. RPL. Anji vs Spartak Moscow. On the guest sector about 200 people from Moscow. Spartak at 22-minute scoring a goal against the hosts. Moscow fans lit a few fires that did not like the Dagestan OMON (police-robocops). They went on holiday sector and began to beat all the batons and electric shock. Final result Anji 0-1 Spartak. After game, sms Spartak fans "We are on the sector, we are flying stones from the street, waiting for the buses." "Police cleared the area around the stadium, the bus arrived to the guest sector." "The whole crowd of animals(Anji fans) with stones in their hands crossed on the train station." "Team put on a bus straight to the stadium." "We were put into a police truck with barred windows. So let's go to the station." "Come to the station, the station Makhachkala-1. To the central Railway Station did not driven. There's a hell-a few hundred animals with stones in their hands. Disposal of the chief of the city: at the central station does not carry anybody." When leaving the stadium on a bus in which the Spartak players went to the airport, hit hail of stones. They flew from all sides of a large crowd. These hooligans are not limited to: as long as the team followed the Makhachkala, "rockslide" has been renewed twice, and stopped the attack only after the "Spartaк" left out of the city.
Part of the Spartak fans went back to Moscow by bus. After a few km bus began to pursue the animals for 3 cars. Stop the bus they did not work, but they shot him with a gun "Saiga". Fortunately, all are alive. Bus significantly damaged. He has smashed the windows in Makhachkala, and he is now with broken glass and bullets in the body is broken halfway to Moscow. It is located about 50 fans.
thanks for sharing rusich, thats some interesting stuff. keep it coming (i mean hopefully there is nothing more to report, but otherwise). Crazy Terek steals from the federal government, but I guess it is to try to incorporate the people as russian. crazy photo's of the stadium
Yesterday battered bus with Spartak fans got home. Here in this form, he drove nearly 2000 km away from the "wild" Dagestan to Moscow. http://www.lifesports.ru/news/35899 http://fanat1k.ru/images-vcat-1539-2.php What do you think of all the chaos going on in the match and after the match, which was imposed punishment for a football club Anji? Total 50000 dollars! That's it!
Why would you even go to an away game in Chechnya or Dagestan. Might as well check at Kabul United or Baghdad FC.
If it were not for politics, then in the Premier League would never have had 4 clubs in the North Caucasus, with a maximum of 1 or 0 clubs. For the fans is a matter of honor to be on the Caucasus trip with the team. The fans there are going as to war, for them it is a real exotic. Now many people in Russia say that you need to create a separate league for the Caucasus.
Aiden McGeady ‘I saw the Anzhi fans tearing out seats and then throwing them at the Spartak fans ... It’s a different world’ Picture the scene. Rocks and stones are bouncing off the isolated bus in which you cower. You're a stranger in a foreign land, thousands of miles away from home, surrounded by people with whom one's first meeting was a matter of weeks ago. With barely the ability to mouth a muffled greeting in the native tongue, you have just watched a riot unfold an hour earlier, crowds of manic people flinging chairs and seats and projectiles at another selection of agitated people. Welcome to Russia. Or, more precisely, welcome to Dagestan, one of its more volatile regions. Aiden McGeady sits on the Spartak Moscow team bus and his adrenalin is pumping. His team colleagues pack their kit-bags tightly against the window as a feeble buffer lest the windows smash as the bus driver nervously attempts to extricate himself from the maddening, local lunatic fringe of FC Anzhi supporters. Welcome to your new life. Sitting in a tranquil Dublin hotel suite, McGeady recounts this gripping tale, then surveys the past three months of his professional life. "It's been going great for me," he beams. The weekend witness to some raucous rioting in Russia's toxic northern Caucasus remains undeterred. "During the game, we had a corner and I was making my way up that side of the pitch and I could see over amongst the fans," McGeady continues. "There was a big riot. I don't think it was the police and the Spartak fans, I don't know what happened. And then I saw the Anzhi fans running up to the Spartak fans, tearing out seats and throwing them at the Spartak fans. "It's a different world out there. The boys were telling me that it's normal for teams in that region. They didn't tell me before the match though!" http://www.independent.ie/sport/soc...-itrsquos-a-different-worldrsquo-2364698.html
how do Grozny, Nalchik and Vladikavkaz compare to Makhachkala for visting fans from Moscow - which is the most hostile ?
I don't know about visiting fans, but the people I know from the area say Nalchik is at least still a civilized place. The others, all bets are off.
Nalchik fans have a poor reputation as well. Vladikavkaz is the Ossetian capital and they're one of Russia's most loyal ethnic groups and Alania jhas some of Russia's best fans a number of who are Russian as Russians make up about 1/4th of Vladikavkaz.
Like I said, I am not talking about football, fans or visiting the stadium. Just that you could probably walk down the streets of Nalchik without much more worry than any other Russian city. At least, that is what people have told me. I've never been to the central Caucuses.
