Exclusive ! Here is the schedule for next season pre-vacation friendlies !

    2/6/2010 : Bostwana.
    3/6/2010 : Chinese Taipei.
    4/6/2010 (at 2h00 PM) : Brazil.
    4/6/2010 (at 6h00 PM) : Argentina.
    4/6/2010 (at 10h30 PM) : Uruguay.
    6/6/2010 : Morocco.

The FFF chairman comments : "I see no issue at all with this schedule. Professional players are perfectly able to play 6 games in 4 days, even after a full season of efforts. Some people say that 3 games the same day are a little too much, but these people aren't true supporters. They aren't patriots. French players are strong enough to overcome such petty concerns because their hearts are pure and because we won the World Cup ages ago. Of course, we strongly oppose the use of any kind of doping substances, but we hope the players will make the right choice by themselves....

...pardon me, Adidas is calling to give me new instructions .... yes ... at your orders, master.... so, we'll also play Paraguay the 4/6, but in the morning... aye aye, sir ! Long live the spirit of soccer ! Buy Adidas !"

of course not. I was making fun of the pointless games nobody cares about, that exhaust the team and bore the fans to death. If the FFF thinks the team can gain prestige with that kind of jokes, they are clearly out of their mind.

(this said without disrespect for Nigeria and Turkey. The problem is with us, not with them).

Even if it hurts me to admit it, you can't blame Domenech for what happened. The only culprit here is the fed. If these people don't understand that pointless games tarnish the reputation of the team, they should be fired ASAP. Pointlessly milking the cow isn't a good thing already. But trying to milk a dead cow, as it will happen if they don't put an end to their foolishness, is beyond the utter limits of idiocy... And this is true even by strictly commercial standards : what entertainment value these shows really have ?

But the Federation moves at its own pace. Some things never change.

All in all, and even though I'm no fan of Domenech, I have the strong suspicion that things won't change no matter who is in charge.

We got used to the Golden Generation and our expectations are too high for the current crop of players. I think that's the bottomline.

It's not a disaster, but even with proper management I expect us to go from one of the Top 5 teams in the world to a position in the 6-10 range, at best.

yes, yes, we know all about that... but what about the turkey match? I'll be there and hopefully:

    a) ray will field a max of gones

    b) the players will feel a need to redeem their halfhearted match wednesday

    c) gerland will show the world that marseille and sainte do not have the best fans in france. we get damn little respect, but now's the time to be counted!

    allez le virage nord,
    fais entendre ta voix!
    allez le virage nord,
    le douzieme homme c'est toi!

I would love to see Lloris get this match. Considering what you're saying we probably will. I don't know what much else to say, that game on tuesday was very disheartening.

I don't get how Escudé and Squillaci had such a poor game. In Sevilla, they are great in defense. Sevilla has the fewest goals against in La Liga.

put 2 and 2 together. everyone who plays in blue performs lower than their potential. gregory coupet talked about that a while ago.

That's the team that will start today .

Again , two DM's . Domenech really doesn't have an other ideas does he ?

    We'll lose 0-2 .

That team is stronger than the one from Tuesday, at least on paper.

I don't see us scoring with a lone striker, unless it's from a PK.

Why is Anelka playing ? He's on vacation...

Now the question that matters : do I really need to watch that !?

No Ribery...so its weaker in attack.

Why put Anelka on the wing when you have Ribery at your disposal?

And yes, the 2 DMs will insure that this team gets virtually no good balls to the strikers.

I guess Guignol is at the game. I hope for his sake that we can get some goals tonight.

@ Platini, what do you mean by an away game? not enough cheering by the french fans?

I mean there seems to be Turks everywhere around the stadium . I still see alot of french tricolores but from watching it looks we're outnumbered .

Anelka's shooting has been ridiculous .

Fire in the stadium? People throwing bottles? Whistling every time Les Bleus touch the ball?

Are you sure it's Lyon and not Ankara?

PS: Looks like the match could be suspended.

this is ridiculous. someone jumped on to the field and even though they're telling the fans to calm down they are just booing him to...no class.
