    Strasbourg, France.
The Breton Civil War is over, then. Time to mourn the victims. Poor, poor Rennes : Salma is gone and now they've lost the cup.

Absolutely right. Even our best teams can't compete with the Ukrainian ones, so Guingamp...

They need to make a rule saying that a cup winner can not play in Europe if its not a 1st division side.

That's not fair, if you can win the trophy, you deserve the prize. The question needs to be asked, how did they win this trophy without being a 1st division side?? They're not even a big budget second division side. They haven't been in the top flight in 4 years.

Yea like 60% of those voters I don't like it, but still it would be unfair not to let them go. I also agree this makes us look bad on the european stage. But honestly, does anyone else in europe even notice?? They I look at it, either they get knocked out first round, or they make a nice little run, and make french football actually look good. Or the Europa a laughingstock lol.

Trophée des Champions will be played in Montreal.

Ive been screaming for French teams to play games in Canada for a while now so Im glad its finally happening. The bad thing is that Guingamp is playing and they wont draw many people. At least if Marseille is there they will draw a big crowd.

I just bought 8 tickets. (I'm in Montreal now). It should be a lot of fun. I wonder if they'll be laying down grass for this, or just using the same turf they used last winter.

they interviewed bordeaux players about it at halftime of FCGB-OM yesterday; apparently they're going to play on synthetic and aren't real happy about it.

25,000 tickets have already been sold and they are expecting a crowd of over 30,000. Not too bad.
