I loved the game! and got some props too! Of course, the first one trying to claim ownership on the ball was the little one (my niece) Thank God she was sleep 20 minutes after and I got my ball back! (which in case you didn't notice.. has 1Back's signature next to the Puma) I also bought a FCGoldPride Jersey and got 16 GP players to sign it! On a funny note, Sinclair stopped for a second and started talking to me about "how cool the jersey was and how familiar it looked" I like her, she is very cool and super polite. As usual, lots of players signing autographs that lasted almost an hour.
Clouded, Bonnie, Crimson, DiegoRed and the rest of you Women's Soccer Fans out there. You all seem like people who can get a conversation going. How do we spread the word on the Pali Blues, defending champs of the USL W-League, trying to break the world record for most people in one place juggling soccer balls! The full story's on their website www.bluessoccerclub.com Should be a lot of fun and great for anyone who loves soccer, particularly women's soccer, in So Cal. thx
I did! although this traveling is eating up all my weekend. I might not make it this week to see FCGP vs Sky Blue
say the ones that puts rants up! -kidding- When I read: "You all seem like people who can get a conversation going." I thought... must be a newbie
Hey, cool helmet. The same company had one a few years back that had tribal scorpions on it that were amazing. Of course, they always do bad ass graphics.
Know how I know I'm up WAAAYY too late? I had a WPS DVD on my desk (Thanks dianamo!). I'd just made a couple of copies. I picked one up and was like, 'Oh yeah, Smith had some good goals in this one, I think.' So, I call up the BOS-WAS box score on the site. Looked for when the goals were going to be scored. Popped in the DVD. Skipped forward a little bit. And kept wondering why the hell Boston was playing in Orange. I thought maybe their colors clashed with the Freedom's or something like that. But I kept looking, I was like, surely they could have picked up a better color than orange. I looked at the scorebox at top. It was Chicago vs. Sky Blue. I never had a BOS-WAS match.
Yeah... the thing about this helmet that I love is the drop down inner visor. I have the Sy-Max II, their top of the line flip-up helmet and that does the same thing. So when looking for a non-flip up, I can't imagine having one without that.
