I'm certain Domenech thinks Mickaël Landreau is now ready for NT. I bet he will be called soon, Raymundo style !

Manchester United Target Le Mans' Yohann Pele

The Red Devils are now on the lookout for a long-term replacement for Edwin Van der Sar...

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is reportedly targeting Le Mans' goalkeeper Yohann Pele, according to News of the World.

The French 'keeper is seen by the Scotsman as the ideal replacement for current Red Devils No. 1 Edwin van der Sar, and he is expected to make a move for him in the summer transfer window.

The 26-year-old has also been trailed recently by Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, but United are reportedly the front runners in the race to sign him.

The Red Devils are expected to offload Polish keeper Tomasz Kuszczak this summer, with the 27-year-old desperate for first team football, and Pele is expected to come in and provide more competition for the number one jersey.

The Red Devils also have young English
keeper Ben Foster on their books but, with few first team opportunities, he too is expected to leave the club this summer, with a whole host of Premier League sides' reportedly queuing up for his signature.

Pele has been at Le Mans his entire career and has revealed that he is looking for a different challenge. He has also said, in the past, that he would be open to a move to England.

The uncapped Frenchman has made 119 league appearances for Le Mans and is thought to be in contention for a national call-up some time soon.

Gonzalo Higuain needs to make up his mind! "so does Domenech"

Real Madrid’s Gonzalo Higuain Considers An International Future With France

After thus far being shunned by Diego Maradona, los Blancos’ front-man has admitted he could turn to the country of his birth to play international football...

Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain is as yet uncapped at international level, and the striker has conceded in an interview with So Foot that he could be prepared to turn out for Raymond Domenech’s France side if he is continually snubbed by Diego Maradona, the Argentina head coach.

Higuain has been in breath-taking form in the spanish Division in recent times, smashing 22 goals in 34 appearances for los Merengues last season as he provided cutting edge to their revival in the Spanish top flight. Yet this was apparently not enough to earn him a call to the national side.

“I work hard every day so that I will get a call from Maradona,” the vexed player stated. “I want to play at the 2010 World Cup, so I will not lose hope. There are rumours that I am not attracted to the Albiceleste, but they are completely false. It is even one of my dreams.”

Despite professing his affection for Argentina, Higuain, who was born in Brest, France, has not ruled out the possibility of playing for the 1998 World Cup winners.

“It's gratifying that Domenech looks to me, especially since the French team is a world power,” he said. “And then there’s Karim Benzema, a great player. So you never know.”

France are far from guaranteed their spot in South Africa, having started their qualifying campaign in an uncertain manner. Despite this awkward start, les Bleus are likely to face the qualification play-offs in the worst case scenario, and would doubtless welcome a player of Higuain’s undoubted ability into their unit.

No thanks ( Higuain ) , although he has french roots we shall not be a second option . Besides , he doesn't even speak french does he ?

As for the future , look out for Sebastien Corchia ( right back ) and Yacine Brahimi ( winger ) , these two were amazing in the U19 tournament .

While Damien Le Tallec was disappointing .

No we don't. World class talent is not the problem for this national team, tactics are. There's plenty of actual Frenchmen who should be taking that spot.

Well since Domenech is in charge of tactics, my point still stands, this team needs help.

To be frank, France has no chance as long as Domenech is in charge of the French team.

I told you guys Nasri would find his form again :p. Coming off a leg break and being played constantly out of your position, gives you no real chance to shine. But put the guy in the middle, let him pull the strings on a big stage, and there you have it. Maybe we should consider playing a 433 with this middle:

    Toulalan -----Gourcuff

    --------Nasri---------

Take alot of the pressure off Gourcuff to be the creator, and maybe we can finally score a goal or two

Yeah I'd love to see that , and I think it could work too . A DM , CM and AM . Enough with this 2 DM's rubbish !

Arsenal didn't miss Cesc at all last night , Nasri was running the show in his favoured position .

i've always thought Nasri had the potential to be a real star for Les Bleus. He has so much talent and cando so many different things. I think he has the intelligence and vision to be a great playmaker. Maybe not a Zidane but a really capable attacking midfielder who can organize play but also, like today, produce moments of individual brilliance.

L'equipe's Les Bleus journal had Nasri and RVR as players to watch for the national team. Hopefully Domenech was reading.
