Im just saying ...\ The Europeans and Asian players tend to be soft. And I hate that Dirk is so damn talented, but wont win a ring for a team that has plenty O chances to do so. Pau Gasol is soft as hell, but he's attempting to get tougher. Marc Gasol is another story, that guy is gonna be a force.
Well that seems to be the difference between American and European/Asian players. In the NBA you have to have that devil in you or you're not gonna dominate games. Then again, Duncan and Boozer are good examples of non-US players who dominate inside. I really do think Yao could have gone down as one of the best centers ever if he had a different mentality. He's big and strong and has excellent hands. There's no excuse for him to not average 30ppg and 14rpg.
Duncan: Virgin Islands Boozer: Germany They're as American as Camoranesi is Italian. If Dirk or Yao got an American passport would you not say they were International players?
Apparently, someone who actually knows what he's talking about don't agree.... http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/holl...=per&qual=true&pos=international&seasonType=2
Hollinger , I lol'd. 1 thing to tell you. Boozer and Duncan played for the US team. They have American passports. If they were from another country like you and the arrogant Hollinger claim they would play for their own countries. They do not. I win.
Uh, yes you did. Boozer was born in Aschaffenburg in Germany. He's about as American as your mom when she jumped over the fence.
It's alright , let's agree to disagree . Marbury trade , will it be good or bad for the Celts , your take ?
Very underrated. He stunk with James, like most players do, but has shown what he is capable of. I think he would be a great fit with Duncan.
Joe Smith to the Cavs is a great move. Really like him as a player. Gives them an actual scoring threat at the 4 when Crab King isn't playing there. Went to the Magic - Suns game last night. Really sloppy, defenseless game. If the Magic don't tighten up their D they will get shredded in the playoffs. I got to see firsthand how thier shooting beyond the arc is a feast or famine thing. They were jacking up threes all night. Only Howard has passable post game. 4 guys on the perimeter and 1 down low isn't exactly a winning strategy. I'm starting to have some major qualms about Lewis. He is playing out of position but has to do a much better job of holding his own. Nash was tearing Alston a new one all night. Nash still has it. Very surpised by that. Also, Grant Hill and Shaq Fu were getting booed every time they touched the ball or came unto the court. The bad blood between the parties will never go away (especially Hill). Fun night.
DJ Mbenga stuffs Rudy Gay twice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFCYYQr4v4E&eurl=http://basketbawful.blogspot.com/
Seems like detroit performs a lot more better without AI. I suggest Put AI on the bench for a spark in the second half.
