.even with C.B. they were not in the same level as before....they lack the chemistry that they use to have
Instead of trying to improve what they had with a tweek here and there they imploded theur chemistry and team makeup. Better off with Billups.
Looks like Bynum will be out 8-12 weeks. Was hoping for a career ending injury but this isn't too bad.
This sucks, and I'm not even a Lakers fan. Whoever makes it to the Finals, I want them to be able to bring their best team. Best case scenario seems to be that Bynum heals quickly enough to be back for the start of the play-offs. But then, that's what we thought would happen last time he went down. And even if he does, you cannot expect him to immediately be at his best and hit the ground running. I still think the Lakers make the Finals though. The question is, can they beat the Cavs or Celtics without Bynum?
did you guys ever think that Joe Dumars traded Billups to get rid of his contract and add AI because his contract is up after this year? He obviously wants to cut payroll for the big 2010 free agent class. I think Dumars knows that this year was more of a rebuilding year and he knows his team is not ready to win right now. He's a smart GM and knows what he's doing. AI is gone after this year and Detroit has a future stud pg waiting to play in Stuckey.
Detroit wasnt ready to win this year? Was that them in the ECF last year? Is Stuckey really a PG? Seems like a better 2 for me.
Kobe dropped 61 on the Knicks Most points ever scored by an opponent in Madison Square Garden (breaking MJ's previous record).
There is no reason to think Lakers will slip up. They have a great record with Gasol at center and Odom at four.
No need to get all pissy. Even without Bynum they will still beat up on the rest of the conference...maybe

The Cs have been surprisingly injury free since the Big Three have come to Boston, especially considering their respective age. It's probably not since Pierce's injury back in '06 that one of them has been side-lined for an extended period of time.
