Bolton have not changed anything. Still 10 behind the ball.

I'd like to get two more quick goals, and then put babel in up top with keane, El Zhar on the right, and Lucas in the middle. With Kuyt, Gerrard, and Alonso coming off. Move Yossi to the middle with Lucas.

We're mising the important stuff here.....

Benayoun's new haircut (shorter) makes him look less like George Harrison.... or is it more?

    Shot for Agger wide
    Shot for Yossi wide
Corner to LFC 40th minute... Hyppia fouled someone while climbing for the header

Wow. Whem we play like this, we can beat anybody. Especially when Torres comes back. Only one shot from Bolton in the half, the only thing making this game imperfect is only 1 goal.

I don't want to sound too critical but a 1-0 goal lead is not good enough given the way we're dominating and the way Bolton is playing.

We're not utilizing one of our strikers, Keane, as hard as he is trying, is again out of the game. Our passing has been fantastic and we are pressuring from all areas of the pitch but when we come to the final third the decision making is a bit scrambled. Kuyt is putting in another tireless and opportunistic performance be he is not a central forward in this system. A fit Torres could certainly have helped in getting our justified lead.

At this rate, its probably best to put N'Gog out there for Keane and El Zhar just for more match minutes for these two promising players.

I missed the first 20 minutes, but Yossi does look good today. He's been penetrating. But.... is that not Gardner's side for Bolton? He's been playing extremely well lately, if he is indeed on that side, I'm surprised Yossi has been so effective going forward.

Not that Garnder is an out of this world defender, but he's quick, has a good touch, is hard enough (harder than Yossi for sure), etc.

    Halftime is half over.....

Yossi has had a good match so far. We've looked great. Bolton will come out charged up in the second half--I hope we keep the pressure pile don and kill it off with a goal quick. 3-0 Keane w/a 2nd half brace...

    Agreed.
A few more goals in the second half would provide with a better score to represent the team's efforts.

1-0 HT... we've been looking good, possession 73% us, but 1-0 is not enough, we need 1 more and we are certainly capable of it... n'gog (or babel) for keane or kuyt would probably be useful since both aren't doing too well at the moment imo. yossi and riera have been playing well so far.

What a wonderful finish from Keane... Keane and Torres could happen in 2009.

Hell of a finish indeed. Stevie seems to love it when Robbie scores! Like us, he's looking ahead to a Keane - Torres duo, with both of them on form.

    There's only one Keane!

    :D

Pick that out, what a wonderful move by our team! Reina to Alonso to Benayoun to Keane for the goal!

This is turning into a textbook match where we dominate in all facets of the match!

It's really showing that Keane doesn't want a transfer, after his second. Last week I would've hoped for one. Not now.

I want to see N'gog and El Zhar, with Keane and Riera getting applause.

Also, it would be good to see Insua to play another full 90.

The rest of the league will be noticing the arrival of two new signings for Liverpool with trepidation... The real Robbie Keane and some guy named Torres.

    We shall not be moved.
