    You are making this up, there is nothing in the rules to support that. What you describe is a no call.

    Also, I was unaware that the ball can do anything intentionally or unintentionally.

    Torres is terrible in attack.

    Drenthe coming in, that should give us more options on the left side.

    he's already looking active on that left side in attack

    That's how they call many Penaltys here... (Colombia league)... including some Libertadores matches.

    Not the ball, but your hand. You can unintentionally hit the ball with your hand.

    The difference between red and yellow card is not if it was intentional or not, if the ref judges it as unintentional then he won't make any call at all.

    The difference is if the handball prevented a clear scoring opportunity or not.

    i think Robben just couldnt find any raul or ruud in the middle

    many times i see Raul or Ruud failed to catch up with robben

    IMO penalizing that with a red and a PK (90% of a goal) is excessive. But that's what the rules say.
