Mexico does have certain channel networks in hd, copa america was trasmitted by televisa in hd to all mexico, latin america and in the states. Telemundo actually NBC needs to upgrade telemundo (since they own it) to high def in the states. I freaking hate telemundo, their commentators cantor and blanco suck hardcore, especially blanco hes always kissing cantor's ass like no other. The image is horrible on telemundo, just disgusting. Televisa broadcasts alot of the football games in mexico to the states on galavision, if you notice the image is really great even though its not in hd but thats because here in the states galavision doesen't output in hd to its viewers yet.
I thought the question was about the games of the regular season, which would require HD equipment at the stadiums. Telemundo is actually capable of broadcasting in HD but their shows use standard broadcast cameras and other equipment, so all you get is blurr. HDNet shows some of the mls games and they just look amazing. I can't wait for the mexican games to go all out.
In Mexico both Televisa and TV Azteca have HD channels and all the programs they produce are in HD, especially futbol, and with more reason when we talk of the NT. You guys should demand HD from Telemundo for the games of el TRI, I've seen them here in Mexico and they look amazing, definetly HD was made for futbol.
