We're going to win all three cups with only 26 goals? (we would play more than 26 cup games) And 16 clean sheets is a small amount for a league-winning side.

If Rafa puts out a first 11 that are up for it and want to score goals (i.e Torres up front, Babel on the wing, Yossi doing the link up play, Masch or Sissoko keeping defense and midfield tight and Gerrard off his leash) The we will without doubt be up there. If however we do what we have done before. Harry and Pennant, Kuyt and (now) Voronin (No offence to those players who I rate but I think Kuyt and Voronin are too similar and Kewell and Pennant sometimes lack the pace needed in some games) Then we will finish 2nd or 3rd again with probably a cup or two. If we put out the 1st team it will be between us Man U and Chelsea. If we put out the 2nd it will be Man U or Chelsea

Last season we scored a total of 9 goals in the League and FA cups. We scored 11 goals in the Group stage of the Champions league and 6 goals from the Qts to the final. So 26 seems a reasonable amount. Reina had 19 clean sheets last year, VDS for scum had 17, 16 seems ok. You won't shut out every team so a 3rd of the games seems a good number. If we win all cups we will play 13 Champions league games, 4 League cup and 4 FA cup games.

According to us, Robbie will have a good season with Cardiff. Lots of optimism around here these days for Liverpool as well. Let's hope that translates to reality come May.
