Toulouse FC is having a great season in Ligue 1.In the last ten games their record has been D V V V N N D V V V (Du 03/02 au 14/04).As of today, they sit 2nd place in the table. Do you think the club will continue being successful this season?Where will Toulouse end up at the end of the season?

Elie Baup is a great manager and a disciplinarian and if Mombaert had laid the foundation by consolidating Toulouse into L1, this guy is going to take TFC higher up the French hierarchy.

Toulouse's play has won me over, but I've got a question:

What areas need to be improved from this year's squad to keep it up next year?

Central defense (Congré-Arribagé) and midfield in priority (Dieuze).
Dieuze and Arribagé are local players (the last of the "Pitchounes" of D3), loyal to the club and experienced, but without any talent.

    Elmander is a top-class player ! :p TFC's Sonny Anderson ?

Wing defenders (Mathieu-Ebondo) are strong, young and very talented.

Dieuze and Arribagé were not part of the team which played D3 (2001-02), they played at Toulouse before this.
    Arribagé : Toulouse (92-98,04-now), Rennes (98-04)
    Dieuze : (99-01, dec. 02-now), Bastia (01-dec. 02)

The players who played games in D3 are Aubey (4 games), Ebondo (1), Dao (14) and Emana (32).

I remember thinking when Toulouse was no longer in D1 a few years back that it was not right and not good at all for french football... just like when st. etienne was in 2nd division a few years ago, and where nantes (i hope not) might be heading... none of these situations were or would be good for french football...

i'm really happy for toulouse and i hope they finish in the top 3 and participate in CL... i just watched jour de foot and elmander is just the man... great game it seems, and one of the few where there were goals :)

anybody know the avg number of spectators at toulouse this season?

20 687 spectators, the Stadium municipal was full against Lyon and Marseille (35 438 spectators)

Congradulations TFC on qualifying for the Champions League. I am not surprised because I thought they'd have a good season.

That's great that Toulouse maintained their composure towards the very end of the season.I didn't think they would regain their 3rd place spot after losing it a couple weeks ago.

    :) :)

Very happy for Toulouse, the club and its fans... they still have to play the preliminary game... but they still have made history for the club...
