Could you imagine the Super Clasico again? Imagine the Financial gain to LDUQ by Aucas returning to the serie A. I think Aucas just signed a deal with the City to improve their stadium and to build a new training center. I think their demise was due a one person. I think his last name starts with an "M". is it montenegro?

They are first place in their group. They look promising.

Can somebody tell me what the hype on this kid Joao Rojas is? I just don't find what "wows" people about this 18 year old. Or are we just that mediocre lately in certain positions on the field that this kid is considered a good player. He lacks depth, he's not even that fast, and he doesn't have a "game changing" factor to how he plays. The only good trait about him I've noticed all season is that he utilizes both feet when passing and shooting. Other than that this kid is very much average.

just felt like posting this b/c I honestly see lots of people make comments about how he should be on the NT and how he's a "promesa" in our futbol. I've been LMFAO at that.

Aucas want their youth system to look good send him to Europe and get some money from it so they constantly try to expose this kid as much as possible even the Ecuadorian media is hyping this kid up.

Aucas is doing a pretty good job at it too they sent him to Europe with a bunch of other youth players the one goal he scored while he was there was pretty nice other than that he didnt do anything noticeable. This is bound to happen from time to time. I am pretty sure some one said the same thing About the Joao Rojas who is in mexico now that he was the next big thing.

If fell like some players get called up to the NT just to give them exposure too not because they caught the coach attention but because some one constantly mentioned said player so that the player, the rep, the team etc would all benefit if he gets exposed and sent to el exterior or a big team in Ecuador. I know if we think back to some questionable player that made it to the NT we would have an Idea about what I mean. Same thing with Ecuadorian media It how our futbol works if he makes it to Europe it would be solely on the hype that was created for him. If he succeeds hey he will shut us up but chances are he wont make it in a big team in Ecuador.

Aucas I think is going to be an interesting this season Tabare Silva is coaching them now he did a good job with a bunch of youth kid in Deportivo Quito. Eferan Proano, Jairon Bonette, Diego Rojas, Richard Calderon and a couple others. Now he has a bunch of promising players who were in the u-20s and 17 (Jonathan Betancourt,Byron Castillo,Johnner Montezuma, John Pereira) some of them started today and the game vs Mushuc Runa. They are breaking in more to the first team I hope they pick things up.
