Bundesliga is my favourite league and a big step up from the Swiss and Belgian league. But wonder if he should go back. Young Boys is having a great time now, totally outclassing in the league and playing in CL. Gent is also doing good. Trying his wings was good. And he did the right thing. But it did not turn out so good. Nurnberg is also a weak team and they struggle every week.
I don't see why he should go back before the season is over... ? I could understand if the situation was like Kamada's last season. If Gent were to finish 6th like they are now by the way, it'd be their worst season since 2013-2014
I meant the coming summer. The loan deal was until then right? No you are right, at least he is getting playing time. My point was, is it really better to just play in better league for a bad team then a smaller league in a top team and also enjoy CL or EL. Different opinions on this.
Until the coach is fired, Nuremberg will keep sucking and Kubo won't play in a reasonable position either.
Another game, no play time and another loss. 6th in a row with the board sleeping. If he was smart, he'd probably ask to go back to Gent as the team is doomed to 2nd div. anyway.
Well in the end the previous coach was sacked, after the worst start in Bundesliga ever for the club...
Kinda hard to put up any numbers if you are playing wide midfield for the worst team in the league...
As I said before he had his chances, but yes with different circumstances it could have been another outcome.
Kubo commented that the new coach asked him to focus on defending against Dortmund's left side and that he was satisfied with his own performance in that regard.
Almost scored a goal from a nice back-heel shot, but unfortunately it was saved by the opposing GK. The coach subbed him out 1 minute afterwards!
