I have to agree with your assessment the Moneyball comment was right on. The "hope is eternal" crowd can make all the excuses they want and look for silver linings if they want. But I've been looking at a club that refused to build on the 08' cup because they wouldn't spend and real DP dollars on forwards. It's killing us and will continue to do so. BTW we let arrietta go and he already has a goal. Interesting.
