Yeah exactly. I can't understand why we would make one of our biggest rivals stronger for only 40M. They let us pay more that the clause when we bought Theo, we should do the same and ask 50M+. Pay it or leave.
Only Carpio and JFD are reliable on Marca regarding RM. Some Pablo dude on Marca claims Pogba could play DM for Zidane and we could sell Casemiro as part of Neymar deal lol. Makes no sense unless we get Ndombele.

INFORMACIÓN #DEPORTESCUATRO | Gareth Bale comunica a su entorno que se va a quedar en el Madrid al 100% https://t.co/QULCXZPzs9 pic.twitter.com/0CNoGBRLqe— Deportes Cuatro (@DeportesCuatro) June 18, 2019 Weak source but similar story to what we’ve been hearing. Bale wants to stay. Can he please just f*ck off?
It was our choice to pay more than the clause. That's just Flo being a gentleman. Like 4x4 said, we've got no leverage on a player who can sign for them for free in December and sit at home until July next year doing nothing while still collecting a wage.
Like I said, he is not free in December. His contract ends on june 2021. I'm sure Atleti is not the only club who's interested. We should not do them favours, because 40M for him is a huge favour while they're selling Rodri for 70(!!!)M.
JLS: Inter very interested in Llorente. The offer is an important one. Spanish media also saying Atleti have Xhaka as plan B if they can't sign Llorente. JLS says we want 50 ME while Atletico offering 40. 🚨 ¡OJO! El Ínter de Milán, muy interesado en Marcos LLORENTE. La oferta es importante. #JUGONES pic.twitter.com/OECUacsZcJ— El Chiringuito TV (@elchiringuitotv) June 18, 2019 Hope Conte forces Inter to offer more than Atletico.
According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, this evening Real Madrid finally accepted the idea of a loan with option to buy. It is not dissimilar to the deal Bayern Munich had, although that lasted two years at a cost of €13m with option to buy for another €40m. Napoli would reportedly pay €10m for the one-season James loan and the option to buy somewhere between €30m and €40m. The fact they are prepared to do another loan deal with option is already a major breakthrough in the negotiations for the trequartista who turns 28 next month. https://app.football-italia.net/?re...akthrough-james#article/footballitalia-139552 ESPN Colombia: #RealMadrid midfielder James Rodriguez will be a #Napoli player next season https://t.co/8F6bw9IvtN pic.twitter.com/0XJnYTL1vR— Football Italia (@footballitalia) June 18, 2019
I'd rather give him the Rabiot treatment and force him to find a club which will pay for him than suffer through another 2 year loan for peanuts.
I hope James plays there well enough so that finally he can be sold for 40 ME. Three loan deals would make it 23 ME. Overall, won't be bad if he succeeds there and we get 63 ME in total from Bayern and Napoli. Wonder if teams will lowball us the same way with Kovacic. Bale looks way more complicated. Only youth players like Llorente, RDT looking likely to bring in significant money.
Real Madrid is on Neymar, and have a plan to get him for cheaper than what PSG demand: they plan to include Casemiro in the deal. (Marca)
So many teams lining up for him. It's no wonder Bayern didn't exercise their option. They knew they would be selling at a loss.
I hope we wait until after the Copa America to do any James deal. I think he has a good shot to shine in this tournament.
Deal with Napoli is almost closed.. it seems like we are doing the player a nice favor again. What about Bale to Bayern now.. I brought up this idea a few weeks back and now I read some rumors about on twitter..
He wants to stay in Spain and allegedly refuses to listen to other offers. He has an agreement with Atleti, so player and Atleti will see this through until we have no other option.
