I don't normally take much interest in forum rules, but what do BigSoccer's community forum guidelines say about abusive language directed at members? For example:
Am an old user who was invited back here via an email. Just like to say thanks. As for the rules i will have to read them again to make sure that i don't stuff up. I remember when i was on here i got into a fair amount of trouble for being disruptive.
So are there no rules in the Politics thread? For example I reported the below and similar post from the Racism thread but haven’t seen any action taken. Somehow copying the quote didn’t work perfectly but the text is below. I also directly messaged @The Jitty Slitter about similar posts but no response yet. “The Devil's Architect, post: 40168235, No, you have me on block because I'm better than you and it hurts to be reminded of it, post after post, after post Congrats on being unfuckable, I guess. Enjoy being replaced.”
@Jazzy Altidore you need to give the mods some time to act. The post was made and less than an hour later you are complaining nothing was done. Relax. happy New Year.
Been awhile since this post but the stuff I get in trouble for in yanks abroad pales in comparison to what's allowed--and what Mods participate in--the politics forum.
Two different fora with different guidelines regarding moderation. For example, I'm much less totarent in Women's International than i would be if I modded P&CE.
You'd think there'd be some commonality as to basic rules concerning vile personal attacks in threads that Mods are actively participating.
I can tell you that if the mods had deemed there to be "vile personal attacks" it would have been dealt with as such.
