Makes me wistful for the Lletget days. I need to assemble a "where are they now?" on his old West Ham dev squad buddies..Blair Turgott came off the bench to score for Maidstone in the Kent Senior Cup final on Tuesday.

On the bench, DNP, in 0-0 against Celtic.

Guess Mrs. Spector felt voodoo on Easter at Easter Road was just too much blasphemy for one game...

He was out of contract, has an EU passport, and wanted to make some money?

At a club in Scotland where he rides the pine? He could make some cash at my job doing the exact same :D

Specs contract with Hibernian expired as of July 1. Is this the end of the road or does he find one more landing spot? In March, he claimed he had offers from MLS but missed the English style of play. Not sure if MLS doors still open to him at this point.

There must be some MLS team who needs defensive cover on the cheap, right?

Atlanta United are in dire need of a left back. Brek Shea tore his ACL. Does Spector play left?

He can, and has done in the past. How well he did back then is the question. So is how well he would right now . . .

It was a combination of a lot of things. Certainly most of the blame was on a combination of other players but Spector was bad. It was the worst defense in the history of the league and Spector clearly had his share of blame of what went wrong there - and the team has been better since he left.

I always thought Spector's speed and quickness hurt him as an outside back. Surprised he did not transition to CD more effectively. He used to be able to pass and cross. Haven't seen him play in forever, however. Perhaps time has been a cruel mistress.

He'd be a better option than Steres or Romney for the LA Gals; both who constantly start for them.

Very poorly, even at his peak at West Ham.

IIRC, he did OK (for a young kid, not great) in his limited appearance with MU, as a left back.

his England time will be best remembered by 2 or 3 unlikely great performances in center mid, I think once with Man U and two with WHU. In the cup against Arsenal? He had some amazing game against a top team at some point. This probably helped prolong his career there and he did fine in the Championship if memory serves. He's had significant injuries over his career though, including some hip trouble that probably has robbed him of already pretty modest mobility. Don't really know where he goes from here. He'd be great on a nascent USL side, he has more experience than some of those teams have with everyone combined.

Haven't seen him play in awhile but I would have to imagine his body is shot to pieces. I know it hards to hang 'em up but I can't imagine he can get much more money out of this profession. Hopefully he was smart with his wages and should be set.
