I’ll be headed to this one. First time in London! Any recommendations on where to stay, non standard touristy things to do/see etc?

Honestly a lot of the touristy stuff in London is popular for a reason. I really wouldn’t miss the British museum or Parliament. As for where to stay it really depends on your budget. London is pricey so if you’re balling on a budget then I’d look for anything further from the center along the metro line.

The main touristy thinks are fairly obvious, Tower of London, Buck House, Houses of Parliament, the big wheely thing, Grown Jewels etc.

But you should check out The Imperial War Museum, the War Experience, the Tower Bridge Exhibition, where you'll find out what London was like in the War, HMS Belfast a warship used in the War and the Churchill War Rooms.

    Seconded.

For (slightly) less touristy activities, Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese is one of the oldest pubs in London. If you're into Indian food, go to Brick Lane. It's the best Indian in the world, and you get the added fun of bartering your way into the restaurants with the hosts on the street. I refuse to enter unless I get at least one free bottle of wine.

If you've never been before, the tourist activities there really are top class. I'd recommend a guided tour of the Tower of London above anything else. Audio tour of Westminster Abbey (narrated by Jeremy Irons the last time I was there) is also really good.

Nope, not yet. I think the email said they'd be delivered by the 6th.

Shame it's being played on a NFL "pitch".

I have (4) tickets in the supporters section that I will not use. Section 128 row 12. They were 140 GBP. Any interest? They are PDF format that will need to be printed but I can forward them via email.

Please let me know if you are interested.

You're going to this match? Were you here early enough to catch any Gooners matches? I've been here since the Sporting match and will be at Wembley tonight.
