I'm feeling some massive excitement from the group on this one. Mods, can you restrict the number of posts in this thread...really clogging everything up.

Like the chump that I am...I will be there.. rocking out some AO tailgate and then in the Member Lounge and then Sammers section.

    God help us all.

whether it is read or not... :) I'm still posting post game fan review:

Pregame: huge massive parking lot, tailgating galore. Only half full so lots of room for people to spread out. AO had their normal gathering, nothing special, pretty small given that everyone else was also doing their own tailgate. Sammers didn't have anything officially organized that i noticed. Tons of Brazil fans, festive, music playing, good food, etc. Fun, good weather.

Lounge: (for you fancy people). VIP/Circle lounge was top notch, NFL stadium catered club level type of thing. The Member Lounge (where I hung out) was decent, nice. Good food, cash bar, several people milling around. Good conversations with a few fellow US Soccer Members.

Crowd: no surprise to anyone, stadium half full if that... 80/20 Brazil fans. Did like that AO/Sammers/USM section was combined into 1-2 big sections behind the goal. That was well handled, created a really good vibe for the supporters. I went thru Sammers for this one but tix were all the same.

Chants/songs, not coordinated as well as they could. Drummers up front, keeping decent tempo. Capos only up front and 1-2 located a quarter of the way up. That's not going to be enough for that size of an AO section. Groups in the back doing their own thing, didn't feel connected with Capo. Still fun regardless.

Overall, i pay whatever they charge (and hate myself for it). But to watch our guys play against world class talent is always good, and we played ok. Neymar..hate him or not...but that dude's skills are unlike anything I've ever seen. Was a please to see him in his prime, took the game serious and just toyed with everyone.
