I make the first post but I'm not sure I want to do it all alone this season. Remember I was just a substitute of gaijin the master. Perhaps each player could post the results "chacun son tour".

I take Toulouse. For these first picks, don't forget to tell who you are routing for.

Some players have shown interest :
    Allez Lyonnais (Lyon)
    Douai (Lille) (title holder)
    Chims (Saint-Etienne)
    SuperSebGrimaldi (?)

For the rules, they are quite simple but see: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showpost.php?p=5603211&postcount=1

    Today (French hour)
    17h10 : Strasbourg - Marseille 1-2
    20h00 : Bordeaux - Lens 1-1
    20h00 : Caen - Nice 1-0
    20h00 : Lille - Lorient 3-0
    20h00 : Monaco - Saint-Etienne 3-1
    20h00 : Paris - Sochaux 2-1
    20h00 : Rennes - Nancy 2-0
    20h00 : Valenciennes - Toulouse 0-1

    Tomorrow
    18h00 : Le Mans-Metz 0-0
    21h00 : Lyon-Auxerre 1-1

Good idea. Also I think we should start doing predictions for the next week. People really haven't had enough time to sign up and learn the rules if they are new.

I'll take Strasbourg. However, I'm really, really, really bad at mathematics. So, if I have to compute the results, don't blame me if I mess up the whole thing. I don't even understand how it works.

I was wondering how long it would take someone to revive it. After third place last year I should take another shot, but to be quite honest, i think there has got to be a way to spice it up, we suffered from way too many withdrawals last year, and to be quite honest, I can understand them.

Anyway, I can afford to talk, my real life team (Troyes) ended up relegated so I can claim grieving as a reason to not take part this time around. That said, if anyone has any ideas about changing the format they'll be welcome in my book.

I was personally thinking that maybe we could predict scorers as well or something of the like

I think many withdrawals were due to the lack of time some people had. I know for me it got pretty crazy during the school year. I don't see anything particularly wrong with the current format, but maybe a new rule or addition would make it more fun and interesting.

I can't really play now since my internet access is somewhat limited now. It's just not worth it when I might be getting picks in late or not at all some weeks.

This game is really funny when a high majority of teams are run by players. If not, results are kind of falsed. So, if you some forumers who could be interesed in this game, they are welcome here.

OK, so now we have the following:

    Updated list of players:

    Allez Lyonnais (Lyon)
    Douai (Lille) (title holder)
    Chims (Saint-Etienne)
    SuperSebGrimaldi (Bordeaux)
    toulousain (Toulouse)
    Fulhamfc3 (Le Mans)
    AfrcnHrbMan (Monaco)
    jpg75 (Auxerre)
    Pierre-Henri (Strasbourg)
    Carefree 95 (Paris SG)

We have 10 of the 20 teams filled. So how does it work when your team plays a non-human team? Do the non-controlled teams all get a score of 0 for the week, or do they all score an average of all of the players' scores for the week?

I think we have enough to get started for this upcoming Week 2 of fixtures - any thoughts as to what we do for the unmanned teams?

The last two seasons, a vacant team had two points per goal scored in the real match. It's usually in the advantage of the human-controlled team.

After taking unfancied ESTAC (Troyes) to the Champions League qualifying rounds last year, Midknight has been revealed as the new manager of Olympique de Marseille. He was quoted as saying, "Obviously when you're at Marseille expectations are always ridiculously high. Never the less I expect to fit in here because I'm usually ridiculously high myself."

10 players won't be enough, I'm afraid. We need people. Where are Nanbawan, Guignol and Sl7vk ? Well, Nanbawan is probably mourning the loss of Salma, Guignol undoubtly trying to motivate the last three members of the local PS section, while Sl7vk was put in jail for some story involving Mormons and polygamy...

Yeah, we do need more people. 10 will have to be enough for now, I guess.

Cool - well, why don't we do this for the non-human teams. Hopefully we can get more - only 10 is not enough, but I'm at least excited to play and start.
