Hey, I was wondering if you'd give a fellow fan a leg up and team up with me for the upcoming Sheep Draft. No pressure to accept though. :)

Got it. :) Could you give me some links to some sources that you use? I already know of RSSSF and other such websites, but I was wondering if you'd lend some other good sources which you know everybody uses anyway. ;)

I use wikipedia more than you would think. A standard search engine gets a lot done. RSSSF is great, but it will take a bit to get used to finding things on there. IN a pinch, a good bigsoccer search will help a lot also.

My school teacher daughter came by last week. Her school in Shanghai sent her to the "Gifted Children" Conference in Denver, even paid for a 5 day layover in Seattle because they knew I was here. They want her to renew her contract!

It's always great to spend time with her and it was a nice time of rest from the family and school. Although she ran my phone bill up every night.
Her and my wife, the wicked step mother, are like sisters when they get together..

That's good, I know he was pretty involved with the licensing thingy.
Hope he come and joins us when he has the time (and patence :)) again. There's only a few people on the board that really understand the game. I mean it's nice people enjoy being part of the Liverpool camaraderie and read books. but a lot goes over their heads.

Oh, and I deffo include you in the "few" :) Maybe even me but I think Grinners has moved up a level.

Haven't heard from Grinners for a while. Unless he's just staying away from the euphoria over "winning" two matches on the trot..:)

as a teacher(?) you should check out the tv show 'teachers' by the star of walking dead Andrew Lincoln. Its my favourite tv show of all time and the first 2 seasons are incredibly true to (uk) teaching,

Unfortunately, 8v8 on a 75x50 field makes it easier for the powerful kick and run teams to turn every long ball into a dangerous scoring opportunity. The trick it to make the goals smaller so shots need to be accurate and well-timed.
      ----------
Good point, indoor-sized goals would make it tougher. I think 75x50 is a pretty big field though. At U10 we'd play on a 35x55 field (7v7), maybe slightly bigger at 45x65? Sorry if I'm quibbling over 5-10 yards.

I think I might I may have hurt Italiaman's feeling. I sent him a PM saying "relax, it's all in fun" don't get obsessive.
Then offered to "Shake hands......" Ooops! He's done a Suarez.
      Meterphorically of course.

You going to hold on for promotion? I see it's going to be close for you. I was a couple hundred points down from first before the Vuelta...and now I think I have first place wrapped up. Incredible Vuelta, winning all three jerseys. Also the TdPologne, won two of the jerseys.

      Good Luck
