That's a good point about expectations based on experience with Michael Bradley. I don't know that there are many players that have the work effort, dedication and professionalism with respect to the game that Michael has, and Josmer could definitely suffer by comparison.

Our school was too small to have an American football program,so soccer was our main sport. That's where my interest started-well that and Soccer made in Germany (old PBS show).

Been a fan for well over 30 years now.

I'll leave this board for the next months. Bradley was my focal point here, reports on the other yanks in Germany or discussions in the German boards just a nice add-on. It was pretty interesting in many regards.

I got some new views on the "soccer" world, it always helps your analytical ability to try to understand other views, and yes, being involved in "American discussions" helped me as a pretty well-educated European soccer guy to open my mind again to new influences.
It was a nice opportunity to revive my rusty English; I'll spend some time again in Dutch and Spanish boards now for a similar purpose.
      See you again!

Oh, and by the way, are you in any way active in soccer? Just interested.

Yeah... I like the Robert Johnson version of Crossroads. Cream one is awesome too, a rockin' good time.

It's one of my pet peeves about US soccer.I maintain it's why our pro soccer is so bad,the "suburban" parents view it as beneath their kid when they could be a regional marketing manager or loan officer.

      You are a smart man.
It’s really cool how you understood my post because it is exactly how I meant it, all the while trying to be PC and not offend anyone. I did not come up in a suburban environment and I am not white but always try and keep an open mind regarding any issue. Only living outside of poverty because my parents told me education was the way out. I might have said too much but I think you understand. God bless you dude, you nailed it!

Much appreciated, thank you. I find your posts never lengthy and always pragmatic. That can be refreshing in the land of so many "experts".

he seemed fast enough to me. Certainly faster than Boca, better cross and in general better motor and skill. I dont know what he did, but Bob's doghouse has plenty of room.
