Dan, Good work on getting the Ultras off the ground, a real impressive job of starting up the organization. I have come by for short periods of a few games but enjoy watching the game too much to get my season ticket in the section. I plan on making it over prior to a game sometime in the beginning of the season to join as a paying member. I think the Ultras are the best organized group which enhance the game environment the most and that if the group is able to keep the chants relatively clean they should be behind the goal and the FO should find another area for the other groups based on the last game. Hoping that it will go better tomorrow with fewer drums but I just think that putting three groups close together, doing their own thing and making it so they have to "out-noise one another", is a poor choice by the FO. Epi, I am the founder and leader of the Ultras and I have monthly meetings with the FO. We talked and agreed about the drums, as in 1drum/group policy. However, someone in the FO decided to break that agreement, and we got that chaotic noise a the Portland game. Today, they decided to go with a 2drums/group policy, but after last time, I won't believe until I see it. Anyways, my group bought double the amount of season tickets that the other 2 groups bought together, and it's continuously growing, so the FO should listen to us a little more when we discuss this things.
