    About Me:
Hi I'm Ed Barrera, founder of Gravity Werks, creator of Move Like An Animal and Hanna Somatic Educator. I teach athletes how to overcome physical pain, reduce muscular stress & tension and recover quickly from injury using safe, simple, natural tools known as somatics exercises where we use both the brain and body to restore our muscles and movement system back to comfort.
Although I lived in chronic pain in my 20's & 30's where I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia - which they said was incurable. Well after nearly a 2 decade battle, the pains and suffering are gone.

This not only changed my life, I changed careers to help people overcome physical pain so you won't have to take the long road like I did.

Now I offer online courses where anyone with a connection can learn how to be comfortable for life and keep on playing for as long as you'd like.

Recently I picked up my 3rd medal at the US National Veterans Soccer Cup Championships. To go from chronic pain to winning medals as I've aged - well we can learn a few things to keep improving at any age. While those medals are nice, not having sore or stiff muscles is even nicer.

One key area which does not get properly addressed in many sports is recovery and renewal. We know things like stretching and ice are over - but so many people don't. No worries, there are many people like myself who can help others find a new yet old way(which we've known since 1680) to bring the muscles and movement system to higher levels of function and recovery.

Move Well and Keep on Playing!
