The Nash wheels would not spin. You could not even ride the Nash. Constantly had to motor that thing. If both feet were on it, you weren't moving.

At least the Variflex had rated bearings. You could actually get somewhere on it.

My parents likely wanted me to not be one of those skateboard kids, so they hamstrung me with the Nash.

Yea, Variflex's had better wood with a thinner deck. But, they still had a huge nose and tail in the day.

Independent trucks. blind deck with a hip duck graphic. Is it 1991 all over again? :D
