He's not listed on the club's roster page, but I heard from the manager of SpVgg Ansbach, Harald Riegler, who confirms that the German-American is back at the club after stints with Augsburg and Aalen. In fact, he went 90 and scored the last goal in his team's recent 4-0 walkover against SC 04 Schwabach.

This is the Landesliga Mitte -- the club is in seventh place at the moment.

I had him on my MIA list for a while and now we'll see if I'm able to confirm my suspicion that various European soccer web sites lift as much data from me as I do from them!

Dude, I'm so glad you don't work for a collection agency. You'd be the greatest skip tracer ever.

I know I'm somewhat new to these boards, but is the thread starter teh same guy that tracked down that American/Brazilian kid in Italy a few years ago?

That was the best thread I've ever read on the internet.

I think Parmigiano tracked down Jonothon Carlos Elliot. But DMN (Thread Starter) has tracked down hundreds of YA's. Basically the Y-A board would be 1/3 as good as it is without DMN.

    Thanks for the kind words.

And to be very clear, I can take NO credit for the JCE thread or the work done on it. In fact, one of the very first posts is me saying "Never heard of 'im," which was true...

I started the Young Yank in Torino thread, but it was my one great success, nothing compared to the consistency of DMN. I was a 1 hit wonder!

Dave, you should consider working for the CIA with your ability to track down the most random people. Just put BigSoccer on your resume :D

HighburyForever, I'm not sure why you're so sure I don't work for the CIA now.

Bruce S, sometimes I think I'd gladly trade all that "consistency" for the massive victory that was JCE.

However, I am pretty proud of the Yanks in Nepal thread!

    :D

You just reminded me that I hadn't yet read that thread. Thank you for making me spend 45 minutes of my morning with that priceless piece of BigSoccer history.

I actually had to look up Untermünkheim to see if this was still in Germany, as I never had heard of this place before. a) it is. b) he probably didn't move there because of the night life (apologies to all Untermünkheimerians I might have accidently insulted here):

Untermünkheim.... isn't that one of the places that Col. Hogan was always trying to blow stuff in?

He's still with TURA this season, currently leading them in goals. Here's wishing Duane-Carl (and his mother) well.

He remains with Untermünkheim, for whom he recently scored a goal.
