Sigma only have 2 forwards on their current roster, so its a position they needed to add depth. They had a rough off-season as their manager left for Sparta Prague and a key player transferred to Viktoria Plzen. I don't expect Olomouc to be any better than lower mid-table this season but should be clear of relegation. I think if you average out their history Sigma Olomouc on average would be a mid-table Czech team, but its more that they finish top 5 (Europa League level) one year and fight against relegation the next than consistently finish 8-10. I would say they've been more frequently bad than good this decade and their heyday was the 1990s and first few years of the 2000s. It's a decently supported club in a nice historic city with a unique stadium though.

Wouldn't be surprised if he is at least on the bench Saturday as Olomouc's starting forward picked up a red card in the season opener last week.
He made a debut from the bench late in Olomouc's 1 - 0 win over Zlin, but wasn't really involved in anything in the short time.
