Marylebone is a good location for getting to and from Wembley. You would have to travel past anyway. Much better place to wake up in than Wembley. You can do a bit of exploring without your bags and then go back to pick them up. Not really possible in Wembley. When I've used Gatwick recently I've been out of the Airport very quickly. You could reasonably plan to arrive at Marylebone at 11am if the flight lands on time. That is allowing for delays at passport control or something like that. Probably cannot check into the hotel that early but can surely leave your bags and have plenty of time.to get to Wembley. I agree that the train from Marylebone is a good way to get there. Staying at Wembley would have been a much more attractive option if it was an evening match.
Don't know why FIFA and UEFA don't try 5 team groups. I think 20 teams for the Euros and 40 for the World Cup could work. Top 2 still advance, and you have one extra group game, which tends to be the most fun part of the tournament anyways if you're a traveling fan. But then again, this makes too much sense. Still not enough games to satiate their greed.
That's what it looks like to me too. I think for those who want to enter the lottery for general fan sales tomorrow might not be the best day to try given the expected congestion on the website. On the other hand, given how this has sort of gone so far, there's a tiny part of me that worries that they'll screw it up and that the general sale won't actually be a lottery. I think that's a very very low risk, but I'm still going to try to log in early just in case.
5-team groups start making less sense when you realize how long it will take to play the tournament. They just made the Euros one matchday longer in 2016. Having 5-team groups would add yet another matchday. You're looking at 8 matchdays for the Euros and 9 for the WC.
Lads any ideas how many days do they give you to buy the tickets once you were successfull in the lottery? Is it like 24h or something? or they give couple of days? cheers.
What worries me is that it will be no credit card details required and we go to the same oversubscribing again and 50%+ get put in the bin again.
I think for the first public ballot it was something like twelve days. Applications closed July 12th. Results on August 6th, pay by August 18th. Leftover sale on August 22nd and random matches added sporadically for sale in the week or two after. We will probably hear results about this next ballot in mid February or so (a guess).

People had multiple accounts for Euro 2016 under same name as well as WC2018 so I don't see why not but I don't recommend it, why risk it if they have changed their routines. Just use your friends own account or create one in your gf, mom, dad, sister or your brother from another mother! Why complicate it!
Yeah, he's right. I had the same e-mail. It directs you to a more detailed message on the Turkey Supporter's Fan Club site which clearly states the sales for Turkey's group stages matches will be first come first served. I signed up to the supporter's club to cover the possibility of Turkey being drawn in the UK group. Alas, Rome for a one off group game doesn't much appeal to me and Baku, as much as it will be a "home from home" for Turkey fans is about as far away from me as the moon (figuratively speaking!). Still, should Turkey end up in either London or Glasgow in the second round then I'll have first refusal on tickets so the membership might pay dividends later on.

That's precisely what it means. The sooner you log in the better chance you have of getting tickets (as opposed to the general ballot where someone who logs in as soon as it opens has no better a chance than someone who submits their application a minute before closing).
You need to resubmit. It says on the FAQ that those who were unsuccessful in the first ballot have to make a new application.
