It only looks that way because the defender BADLY overran the play. Did he know, before he pushed the chest ball ten steps ahead of himself, that the defender's positioning would be so poor? Regardless, I would still argue that his control was not very clinical IN EITHER CASE.

I don't see it that way. If he was intentionally trying to push the ball well forward of both himself AND the defender he would have given it the "chest push" which he clearly did not. I see it as a poorly controlled chest ball and a poorly positioned defender that bailed him out..

You must be looking at a different clip. There is NO back and to the left movement in Weah's upper body. Whaaaat Eveeer

Is there a future world in which Weah might start up too alongside Sargent for the USMNT, with CP, Adams and McKennie behind?

There is no future for the USMNT until beerholder and bradley are gonzo.

Forget that - how old is he? Let's cut off his arm and do a bone scan to find out!

Dude, if you want to see how old the tall guy is, you cut off his leg to do the bone scan.

Some people don't know anything about sciencing.

Perfect timing for both. Stay with Club. This is a disaster in this side of the pond.

The world can't have a US team emerging to be dominant at the global game. It just can't.

Jeez, this sucks... We do not have the depth to have this amount of injuries to our key players.

I blame the Pentavirate. They decided this at their annual meeting in a super-secret location known as “The Meadows.”

This is beginning to seem like the hamstring equivalent of whatever happened to Adams' groin. Out for months with a torn muscle and visiting specialists in foreign countries...

It's kinda crazy to me that guys that young are taking so long to come back from muscle injuries.

If you fully snap your hamstring, isn't a many months recovery?

Hamstrings are tricky and it sounds like he has the worst non-surgical repair injury (so a bad grade 2) you can have. Usually that's a 3-4 month injury. Grade 3 with surgery is about 4-6 or more with setbacks.
