Or she's tied to Rick Dalton, from latest Quentin Tarantino's picture film. I don't want to spoiler anything, but at a certain point of the plot a character asks if he's one of the Dalton brothers.

here's Germany's roster for their historic game this Sunday vs England with an reported sell out of 90K+ at Wembley. Alexandra Popp been since added since it's GE's only & last game of the year, coach MVT brings in a lot of vets back in, even though some of them have just returned from injuries & probably not at 100%. Notables missing; Elsig, Huth, Schult, Gwinn all due to injuries. to me, it;s a mix bag, she retains an incredible strong list of attacking mids(possibly 5 of the 10 best in the world = Popp. Dabritz, Marozsan, Magull, Dallmann) but then to play all of them at one time, MVT got to spread them out into various different positions their not very good at & thus those players just drift into the middle sometiems seem to get into each others way. The defense looks particular weak as MVT bring back her friend, the mediocre/slowpoke Hegering(I mean, Sweden ran rings around her in the WC quarters) & than MVT insistance of turning the 17 year old usual mid, Oberdorf, into a bonafide CB. Sorry, she might have a great future, but she's right now way too young to be in charge of such an important position. Frohms will probably be the starting GK, but got to wonder about her confidence level, as she just got a 0-8 shellacking as her club lost to Wolfsburg last Sunday. Upfront MVT brings in some newbies, Starke, Gasper, Lattwein, but still missing is a Hegerberg/Sam Kerr type world class striker. Both Bremer & Schuller had promising starts, but seemed to have faded from becoming the next Birgit Prinz(who led them to two WC thrones). MVT is now pinning her hopes on the 18 year old Klara Buhl, only time willl tell if Buhl & Oberdorf will become eventual superstars/and then MVT still got to tap into the high flying Hofffenheim club. Got the feeling she's waiting for NT camps during the winter break due that it will take time to bring those HOF's players run n gun style into her more disciplined, retain possession though numbers & short passing tactics. Sorry about the long rant, but Germany is still the #2 team in the world & deserves the attention for it(despite even their own fans apparently giving up on them/that means you, batfink, lol)
Yongchuan friendly tournament Brazil 4 - 0 Canada (Chu 12', Formiga 23', Bia Zaneratto 41' 57') China 2 - 0 New Zealand (Wang Shuang 61' 90+2')
here's extended highlights from last night's USA vs Sweden mixed results for Vlatko's debut; instead of Jill Ellis's swooping down like a vulture with a hardcore press & bombastic attack no matter who the prey was(aka the 'rec' leaguers out of Thailand) we had a more refined attack, choosing the passes more wisely and while taking less shots, they were way more accurate. It lead to a 3-0 lead at halftime. But then Vlatko's squad sort of panicked in the 2nd half, especially after Press, Lavelle & Ertz got subbed early & Vlatko couldnt get much substance out of the subs put in place. Upon two quick goals by Sweden, Vlatko didn't want to use his two remaining subs. So sort of shades of Ellis in that Vlatko made the US appear that it's not avery deep team. Biggest difference though, whereas Ellis played a high backline to condense the field, Vlatko spread his players out a bit more, not always a good thing, cuz playing too far back will often make it harder to clear the ball out of danger(or opposing high presses) Sweden had to play on defence with their B squad and/or got stuck defending 1v1. They played way too restrained with their attacks in the 1st half, Finally subbed the overrated Aslani & let Jakobsson take charge(simply the fastest female soccer player in the world!) as Sofia all of a sudden was everywhere, perhaps a little too much since she gave away a penalty yet Sweden showed substance by subbing all 6 players. But I would say if it was a tourney like game, the US would of probably kept Lavelle & Ertz in the whole game & ended more convincingly
problem is that English or German tv live streams are usually geo blocked & we've been told enough times by the heavy handed mods not to post any kind of 'pirate' stream on Big Soccer. A few German youtubers always posts their games a few hours later. after game, when it happens I'll be sure to post/link the game
Today's results: Australia 2 - 1 Chile (Kerr 3' 72' - Saez 89') att: 20 029 (record) Argentina 1 - 0 Colombia (D. Arias 33'(og)) England 1 - 2 Germany (White 44' - Popp 9', Buhl 90') att: 77 768 (record)

Yongchuan friendly tournament 3rd place match Canada 3 - 0 New Zealand (Christine Sinclair 35', Janine Beckie 64' 67') Canda bounces back. It's only 2 to go for Sinclair to claim the record... Final China 0 - 0 Brazil (PK: 4-2) 25k fans watched more than decent match. China really went for the win today and the game was played on equal foot by both sides. Finally looks like there is a certain depth to Steel Roses team both on the field and on the bench. Brazil need to work on their youths and ...penalties. China's winner 2nd Brazil 3rd Canada 4th New Zealand Barbara with best GK award Janine Beckie and Bia Zaneratto joint top scores award Wang Shuang with MVP award

A question for the "Friendlies thread". It's maybe a little early for that, but is the team GB that will take part to 2020 Olympic Games supposed to play any friendly match (I mean as "Great Britain", including non-English players) to prepare for the event? Has anything of the kind been done before, when team GB was allowed to take part to the Olympic tournament?
They'll probably play a couple of preparation matches in late spring/early summer, but that'd likely be it. =EDIT= To answer your second question, Team GB played one friendly against Sweden five days before the 2012 Olympics started
here's highlights of England's last game. You might noticed the analyst/commentary of Casey Stoney. She's the current Man U coach who a lot of fans feel should be moved up to the NT coach. In this game, she's highly critical of Phil Neville. Back here in the states, it's very uncommon for a coach to attack another coach(or at least non stop like Casey seemd to do). So perhaps this is an English thing? But if it's not(or the same like the US), then this could be the biggest rivalry since Clough vs Revie. which spawned arguably the greatest movie ever made on soccer The Damned United(though I prefer She's the Man!) if you go back to 2012 Olympics, Kim Little was the only outsider(lineup for the quarter final game) Great Britain vs. Canada - 3 August 2012 - Women Soccerway I don't see them adding extra players except for Little once again & maybe Fishlock(but who's recovering from a ACL which can often take much longer than the 9 month given to fully recover)in this case, I can't blame Engand for NOT wanting to bring in more since it's their tean that won the Olympic birth spot outright compared to 2012 where they automatically qualified(so you think they would of had amore unified team). So what point is it to over train as Great Britain when it's almost the exact same team as England?
I disagree in part; there's a real opportunity for non-English players to make team GB. The English team seems to be having real issues in defense at the moment and players like Jennifer Beattie and Rachel Corsie could bring some experience and stability to that back line. Also, I'd be shocked if Erin Cuthbert doesn't make that Olympic team. There are some Welsh girls with an outside chance to make the team as well; Sophie Ingle comes to mind. Maybe Rachel Furness and Simone Magill get a look to, though admittedly they probably don't make the team. So, while most of the team will be English don't be surprised if there's a few non-English girls that make the team as well; but time will tell I suppose.
