    Profile from Norway:

    https://www.eurosport.no/fotball/mi...emester-utenfor-europa_sto7503162/story.shtml

The 29-year-old recently became the series champion with his South Korean team, Ulsan Hyundai. That makes him the first Norwegian player to ever win series games outside Europe.

"I feel great and feel inside as a Korean soon. For example, I have gone completely into the food culture here and have begun to understand rice. It may be a little corny, but for example, I now realize that rice, as it is prepared and served at home in Norway, is almost vulgar," he laughs.

"Jørn Andersen is trying to get me to North Korea with him, but I've been a little cowardly there."

He also mentions he will finish his career with his first club, Frigg.

Well, just remember: if you go there will be trouble... But if you stay, it will be double...

So that could be an incentive or a caution, depending on your appetite for trouble at the moment...

While I don't know what Mix should do with the future of his club career, I do know that he went 84 minutes and scored the opener in a 2-1 road win over Daegu today. The result puts Ulsan Hyundai at the top of the table with by a point with 5 games to go.

Slight correction - 4 games to go.
But thanks for paying attention. Here is a little from "today's match" in the play-offs":

Follow the money. You're 29 already, got about 3-4 more years to make bank. One can regret anything, but a fat bank account softens any regret.

@miklagard, is that your first World Cup goalkeeper to score on?

Edit: Just dug to see what I could find

    Mix scored against...

So his first club goal against a World Cup starter! Pretty neat : ) Do you have a favorite of those, Mix?

Today Mix was subbed somewhat early (72') to put a more defensive guy and keep the 2-1 win. Thanks to it, and Jeonbuk being unable to beat Seoul at home, Ulsan is #1 in the Championship Tournament (like in several other places, the clubs in the K-League divide into the bottom half of the table playing a Ch'ship Tournament and the bottom half playing the Relegation Tournament) with three games to go.

Only Jeonbuk can catch Ulsan at this point, three points behind. Ulsan plays Seoul away next (a likely loss), but their last two games are at home, with the game on November 22 hosting Jeonbuk likely deciding the league.

Thank you for making me think, and think back. Goalkeepers are a special breed. In order to play their best, they actually hope, time and again, that their teammates screw up so the opposing team can launch their shots at them. They actually stand there and, yes ... hope, hope for the next to worst.. in order to be best prepared. The rest of us - (we) don't hope that. Never. So our mindsets, are not on par or on any parallel. Those guys in the back, different and weird guys in weird and colorful jerseys, are not players the rest of us should pay much attention to. Especially if they are players from the other team. We should look at everything related to the goal, but them. If not, they become bigger and bigger - and end up much like ghosts do - in psychotic and fragile minds.

How....ever, if I put that self-preservation technique aside for a bit, and try to be sincere in response to your dedicated research ;) ---then:
These are probably my favorite encounters with impressive netminders that have left me with, I have to say; (ever-)lasting memories:
    Mohamed Abou Gabal (Egypt)
    Sead Ramović (Bosnia & Herzegovina)
    Adambathia Kwarasey (Ghana)
    Vladimir Gabulov (Russia)
    Turid Diskerud (Grandma)
    Tim Howard* (USA)
    Petr Čech** (Czech Republic)
    * My best goals have been scored on him/Tim. But only during practice. However, many (ha ha) - against the best guy to have, and have had, on any team that needs/needed confidence.
**I needed help from Ale Bedoya to get the game-winner behind Čech last time in Prague. However, the man that helped us most that night - is another great team-building personality - that totally stood up, and stood out, as a sub in that second half; Nick Rimando. One of those saves has not left my retinas, yet.

Appreciate it, Mix. I'm sure Turid would be honored to be in such a prestigious list : )

Here is the Mix shot + Bedoya goal along with a slew of late-game saves from Rimando

With Jeonbuk easily beating Daegu away, everything is decided in the Ulsan-Jeonbuk game on the 22nd Nov.

Jeonbuk needs the win, but beating Ulsan Hyundai at the Big Crown is a very tall order.

No. It's more like legs moving sideways. First North-Korea and then through all of Russia. Collusion? One Jong step and could be Snowd'in. Then Will Trap.
