Man U lose to Bournemouth Liverpool and City losing are half. Shaping up to be interesting. Tho I suspect both Pool and City to come back.
Klopp time is the new Fergie time. Squeaky bum time for the rest of us. 5 minutes added. 2 minutes in.
I effing hate NBC Gold, would have been fun day to easily switch amongst matches anfuuuucck to the scousers
On the one hand they are excellent at getting results from bad positions. On the other hand they are getting in those bad positions. Their points tally seems inflated compared to their level of play but that level we know can also improve. I dont know whether to be scared by how many points that team will win or annoyed that they are semi-fraudulent. The busy festive fixture list will tell us a lot about that team's quality this year. Even more than their 73 balon d'or nominees.
So long as both of them continually beat those in competition with us for the remaining two CL spots, I'll take it. I do agree though, that City will handle the final third of the season better as they have a superior "squad".
I’m watching Everton vs Spurs and their reviewing a potential handball PK against Spurs. The announcer just send something that blew my mind. VAR doesn’t have that angle that shows the clear hand ball on Ali. WTF!? How do they not have an angle that the announcers do? What the hells the point then.
VAR in it's current guise is fundamentally broken. The concept of VAR is fine, how it works today is not fine, not remotely.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...cord-set-Ronaldo-lightning-start-Serie-A.html 9 goals in 11 games for Rom. Good for him. Always knew he had the quality.
Son's red card rescinded? So I don't get this. Honestly, whether it was intentional or not, this is absolutely ludicrous right? He ********ing shattered an ankle in a match that was hugely testy from the off. Whether or not he showed immediate remorse, (he was devastated) shouldn't mean he doesn't deserve to be punished for an unbelievably stupid and dangerous tackle. Am I off base here? Honestly, I'm shocked this was rescinded.
it was a lunge, a yellow level lunge like first awarded, not a nasty intention to hurt tackle, and the injury was more a result of the awkward fall not the tackle, recission right call if you ask me so if a guy mildly bumps a player and his leg breaks like Cisse's did with no contact should he get a red...
