Yea this loss is on Emery for his poor substitutions and misusing Torreria again. Why sub in a 18 year old attacker when your clearly holding on to a 1-0 lead and you take off your DM. Then you bring Kolsanic on when Pepe is needed for a goal at the end. Like I said 1-1 nervy draw we score first, shut it down the opposing team outshot us by alot and they score on another defensive blunder. We need to score 3-4 goals at home vs a team like Wolves to win. This is Arsenal not Inter Milian this is not our style of play. Emery is taking us backwards results wise and killing our football identity. Btw Chambers is not a RB he is so poor, Ceballos is truly a waste RM can have him back.
Also, why Saka for Torreira? Surely if you make that move it had to be for Ceballos, unless Torreira was injured.
Obviously, but what does he think that statement means? “Tactically”...we got our asses kicked, and he says it’s what we wanted.
Really weird to watch you guys start Ozil, Aubameyang and Lacazette (with 70mm Pepe on the bench) and concede possession at home to.....Wolves? Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying it’s wrong on principle - the point is to win games. But if you don’t even win, it’s a remarkable tactical choice.
We were really bad, and Emery is a tactical charlatan. But we had 58% possession in the match. We didn’t cede possession on purpose.
You tried! Wolves just returned the favor, because they’d prefer to counter too. That’s kind of how you got outshot. Emery had a Ferrari and thinks he’s driving it in a demolition derby. It’s weird.
Emery’s ideas are definitely weird. The shot numbers are so bad. Most of the shots we gave up today were thankfully bad locations, unlike our usual where we give up both huge volume and high quality.
